Thanks guys, re the pesky debt challenge i thought it might be a good idea to start a pesky savings for xmas challenge? i know there are a lot of savings challenges and its not debt related but it will stop us getting into any more debt? ill change it to madmoneys pesky xmas savings for now, then finally my debt diary in the new year!! Hope ur all ok with that!!
I think xmas is first and foremost in most ppls minds at the mo, altho my friends seem to think im mad and weve got ages but us dfwers know better lol hope everyone is ok, add it to ur sig if u wanna join xxxx

ok ive just spent the last ten minutes trying to figure out how to edit the thread name!!! its probably something verrry simple but i just cant find how to do it!!! help!!!!!!

hmm, cant help u there mm, no idea how to change it!!!
id like to join the christmas savings club cos yes it will stop me getting massively into debt. so good idea me thinks. ive already got £115 though cos ive been saving every month since january. is that cheating or shall i start from scratch??
changed all my budgets for everyone now ive realised not going to have £200 shopping money, so said £10 for oh mum, dad, bro and sis (meanings as we see them once a year) and ended up getting MIL sorted for £3.32! and oh sis is almost sorted at £2 sumat. so well on track. this hamper basket idea is great!!!

let me know if you want me to start from scratch, prob not going to end up with too much more to save for cmas anyway though cos only got 2 paydays at about 20-30 quid each time. im also tryin to save for holiday next year cos we couldnt afford to go this year so want to make sure weve got some pennies. priortys all wrong i know

nah u dont have to start from scratch nog, its totally up to u, most ppl on here will have something saved up anyway, but i havent, as usual ive left it till september:rolleyes:

hi there every1, ive finally managed to change the thread title!!! im updating my sig now, no savings as of yet tho!!! oohh forgot to mention, my sis-in-law has found a millionnaire boyfiend who is buying her a house and a boob job hahahaha, upshot of that is that all her furniture is up for grabs so im finally getting a nearly new settee wooohooooo. its cream leather and its gorgeous. she sed i can come round n put a sticky label on everything i want so im chuffed!!! got my eye on a few of her possessions and anything she doesnt want n i dont want i can sell on ebay!!!!!
hows ever1 else today? its the 11th so the pesky debt challenge is officially over!!

i was right pleased with myself earlier-ds first FULL day at school today so been at a bit of a loss trying to ocupie dd so she doesnt notice big brother not here (and occupy myself cos felt sad without him ), so anyway caught up on my washing like a good girl and was very suprised to see a tiny little five pound note lying in bottom of drum when i took my last load of washing out! was right pleased, though ew that can go towards my cmas saving money!

thinking of starting a holiday saving thread aswell cos might encourage me to crack on saving that aswell!

hi jo welcome aboard!!! dont forget to put it in ur sig!! nog no he doesnt have a brother lol i already asked!! i will be in ur situation in january as thats when my ds starts school, they do two intakes round here. feel quite sorry for ds as all his friends have left nursery but im selfishly happy coz i get to spend a bit more time with him!! ive also just found out how much the school dinners cost!!!! 1.70 a day!!!!!!! me thinks my son will be on packed lunches..... ;-)
