SFD number 4 although I will not get to 5 as I have to pay for petrol to get back from my friends where I have stayed for the weekend...

Still impressed, had my day outside yesterday as I took the troops out geocaching around the local area, a chance for me to pick up some new ones and for me to introduce the game to the kiddies....

    Hope everyone is okay :)

Hi all, managed to keep the NSD. Decided to spend time in the garden and do the grocery shopping tomorrow instead. The bonus is I got to spend a whole day outdoors and enjoy the sun, (I think I have upped to 50 shades of brown). I managed to do my front garden and transplant my park choi. I was pleasantly surprised with the seedlings - they are rather healthy. Looking forward to the next 3 weeks when they will be ready to harvest. Sowed the next batch in the propagators, ready to be transplanted when the first batch is harvested. Alson transplanted the spinach, chard and coriander but still waiting for the lettuces. (I am a bit late for the season but hopefully I will still be able to catch up.). The dwarf beans and runner beans are doing quite well. Some pods have started to develop to join the three purple dwarf beans I have in my porch. Not sure about my tomatoes as they seem to have so many flowers but not sure if they will develop to fruits,

Got to go to the shower now and tackle the ironing. Haaaaayyy. No rest for the wicked. Tomorrow is the start of the working week and I will be on late shift for 5 days. I am dreading it already due to notoriously busy late shifts in my workplace BUT I opt to be positive by enjoying the lie ins.

Have a good evening and see you later!

Today, I am grateful for a great catch up with a friend, for watching dd's cheerleading showcase event, for good coffee, for seeing another stone circle, for ice to put on a sore muscle.

Was hoping for an NSD but friend + I got coffee and sat in the park, so at least we had outdorr time.

Got repaid some work expenses so will add that on to the stretch fund when it clears. It feels a bit of a cheat as I haven't 'worked hard' for it!

I spent £28.01 in Aldee earlier but we didn't manage a walk along the beach as OH wasn't feeling well. I went to the gym this afternoon so 2/12. I have also rounded down my bank account and made a £4.65 payment towards the debt.

A SFD but not much else to report.

Today I am glad that I only had sons (been discussing steam trains, lego and traction engine rallies), for rain water for the garden and cooling things down, hoping for a more restful night (drunken idiots barking their heads off - I thought it was some dog walkers with angry dogs but DS3 assures me no dogs were involved, just people pretending to be dogs singing).

westie thank you, you've reminded me about geocaching! I love it so will put it on my list of things to do in the summer hols, did you find any good treasures or travel bugs?

bob well done on the party and making £200 :j

nannygladys so excited for you! Bring on Tuesday night!

SFD today as decided to forgo the local event in favour of getting more marking done and saving a SFD. I'll be going there in a couple of weeks to spend money so I don't feel too guilty.

Not much else to report except that I'm rather chuffed with myself after getting lots of marking, the housework and both lawns done :)

I managed to find one TB which I brought home to put into the brownies cache which I have around the corner from my home. It was good we searched for four and found two of them, one of them has been on my list for ages, i thought it had gone astray but he was found recently but still couldnt find it, it was a snail in a wall I managed to find six snails in the wall!! none of them were not real :-(...

    I will try again,

    Hello.
Quick post from me as nodding off as we speak. not due to boredom. just shattered from work.

    Spendy day today... £31.
however, £30 of that was so i could go to my work's xmas party... we are going to the pantomime.
    :D

The other pound was for milk.
    :)

Had my first day with no heartburn today... still having other tummy problems but hoping this will resolve so I start feeling better. I don't like being unwell (although not many people do).
    :(

    hugs to everyone.

Savvy Shopper! I've been Money Tipped!
    Good Morning Turtles

So we are on day 6 of the challenge. How are you feeling about your progress and effort so far?

For me I started the month on £4,750 in debt. I reduced that figure to £4,650 by making the minimum payments & since then have found another £80 towards my stretch target of £4,500. I have to be a little bit careful as I also have holiday childcare to pay for and don't want to go too crazy. So I am looking for any extra ways to make that target on top of my usual wages/income. Any ideas gratefully received.

So have a quick look back at what you said you want to achieve this month when you signed up. Refocus on those goals if you have slipped on them at all & let's get ready to hit it:T
