More healing vibes for Miss Muddy Paws.

CY I'm glad it was reasonably good news for you.

Piggers my friend, please just come in and say "I aiten't dead" if you don't feel like saying more.

I've prepped enough potato and carrot for today's and tomorrow's dins (potatoes get slathered in pickle, carrot gets grated and mixed with mayo) so that I can concentrate on getting the Noyz Boyz settled in tomorrow; they're due here at about 14:30.

Still too darned hot for any meaningful Flying.

Washed outside of front door and front window.
Cleaned out medicine box while looking for Ibruprofen gel.

Doctor was running 20 minutes late. He always like that as he is so popular.

Nothing much done. Why? It has just been one of those days. Paid stuff, managed the daily bits and bobs but that's all. Tonight I have some essential froggish paperwork I must do, plus ironing, as there is a mountain of clean laundry in the bedroom that is actually now hazardous to children and dog.

List updated. Bedrooms tomorrow. Kiddies will have to tidy their own

Conservatory looking much clearer, and although we are due rain Saturday morning, is supposed to dry up by afternoon. So hopefully we'll be outside most of the time. Will get the kids to make some signs for front of house directing people to the side gate so I don't have to listen out for the door.

I could do with sorting the kids stuff in the kitchen - have a cupboard with tubs and plastic stuff toppling out so might try attack that tomorrow. Also got a few plants to go in the garden.

We all need our beds sorting too - so lots to get through tomorrow!

First things first - have a good drink of water!
Follow with the vacuum - get those tools out and brush over the skirting too.
Make those beds - do any need clean linen?

Take a bit of time to relax and get your mind "weekend ready"


Shame about the 'Lionesses' eh. Loving the tennis. Wanted Rafa to win but that Brown guy was amazing !!

Miss Muddy Paws is still in hospital. She has had a scan today and more blood tests. Vet thinks it might triaditis or FIP. It doesn't sound good. She also thinks there is something neurological going on because she (cat) seems to have forgotten how to eat and swallow food. She also seems spaced out.

Staying at school vibes worked after an early phone call at 9.20 asking me to pick up ds2. He had hit someone and pulled a display down. He told them he wanted to go home. I said see how he is for an hour whilst I try to find a way to get to school 25 min drive away by car (if I had one). They rang after an hour and he had settled fine.

Car is being written off. It has been collected. I should get a value from the insurance company tomorrow.

I had to cancel wax appointment.

Flying bit: I brushed the road in front of the house to clear away the rest of my car. Also swept up some protein powder a neighbours husband had dropped in the road as neighbour is very pregnant and is being induced tomorrow.
Empty house next door's bush trimmed as I could get out of my door without holding the twigs back from it. It has a sold sign on but the owner hasn't been to check it for weeks.

Grocery order sent for Sunday x

Did tell you I will be 50 then? How did that happen I think I must have amnesia as I'm sure I'm only 29.

Lol, I had my 50th a while back and I'm sure I'm about 37, strange that I have a DD who's 30 this year:eek:
Have a lovely birthday dancemum I hope life starts being much kinder to you, I hope the insurance company are generous in their assessment of your cars value, I hope poor little miss muddy paws is as comfortable as possible and something can be done once they find out the problem. Could it be the weather upsetting DS2 we are finding some of the kids are getting quite fractious, I hope he was ok once he got home and today is a much better day for him.

Get in touch and I hope everything sorts itself out vibes for pigpen.

Voluntary job today then DDs for tea. I was planning on going to a guided walk on Sunday but weather doesn't look too good. Thunderstorms again.

A quick S&S this morning before I go out.

I see still nothing from pigpen it's quite worrying.
