Come in, Igor, it's a fair cop and all that....it was you who told us about the band. Now, in view of a certain event that did not go as planned the other weekend (stop looking gormless, I am talking about Tatty swanning off with Beastly Bert and leaving you looking like a prat at the altar) I will be merciful. We will allow the band to play tomorrow.....but one step out of line and you are in deep doo-doos, Igor, you will be responsible for their behaviour.

Now please remove your thermometer so I can sit down and have a rhubarb gin or six with my good old pal marmite.

The voles aren't too happy though;that luxuriant,manly chest wig was their early Crimbo pressie to Igor.

Today won't be an nsd I don't think as I have already exceeded my grocery budget for July.
I need to get one or two items,and the shops are shut tomorrow (public holiday here).
Never mind,I've still got a lovely consolation prize! :j

Now remember, Igor, if the Good Ole Boys misbehave tonight, your head will roll. I would suggest you replace the band's beer allocation with something non-alcoholic, fizzy elderflower and beetroot punch might do it.

An interesting development this morning.Cheffie was seen running down to garden path screeching goodness knows what in Swedish and being chased by a pack of vicious looking ferrets.
No ferret burgers tonight then I suppose.
Good for them,fighting back.
Shame Cheffie wasn't wearing his bicycle clips.I believe that they positively swarmed up his trousers.

Now I am very pleased to announce that,apart from The Good Ole Boys doing their thrash metal Madonna covers,a certain band will entertain us.
