Good morning, gang, volunteers please to put up the bunting and fairy lights for tomorrow's Summer Ball....er, knitwitch, having taken some measurements I estimate we are at least fifty metres short. Get cracking with those needles, there's a good chappess, marmite' s fancy vole fur shrug can wait, she can always wear last year's puce acrylic polo neck if she gets cold.

What do you mean Knit Witch,you're having a 5 minute break?That bunting isn't going to knit itself you know....I'd love to help but I've got a rehearsal with the voles in 15 minutes.I wish I hadn't given Hubert my last valium.
