    NSD NUMBER 5
    5 in a Row

Hi all, managed to keep the NSD. Decided to spend time in the garden and do the grocery shopping tomorrow instead. The bonus is I got to spend a whole day outdoors and enjoy the sun, (I think I have upped to 50 shades of brown). I managed to do my front garden and transplant my pak choi. I was pleasantly surprised with the seedlings - they are rather healthy. Looking forward to the next 3 weeks when they will be ready to harvest. Sowed the next batch in the propagators, ready to be transplanted when the first batch is harvested. Also transplanted the spinach, chard and coriander but still waiting for the lettuces. (I am a bit late for the season but hopefully I will still be able to catch up.). The dwarf beans and runner beans are doing quite well. Some pods have started to develop to join the three purple dwarf beans I have in my porch. Not sure about my tomatoes as they seem to have so many flowers but not sure if they will develop to fruits,

Got to go to the shower now and tackle the ironing. Haaaaayyy. No rest for the wicked. Tomorrow is the start of the working week and I will be on late shift for 5 days. I am dreading it already due to notoriously busy late shifts in my workplace BUT I opt to be positive by enjoying the lie ins.

Have a good evening and see you laters.

A belated good evening one and all, I have been away visiting family this weekend and just got back three and a half hours ago. Unfortunately I have no NSDs to contribute to the collection as have been spending like a spendy thing, but I shall be back on the NSD wagon this week.

I see Team Igor are revving up for the wedding, less than a fortnight to go now....Chef is going to be Igor's best man (finally Igor made his mind up!) and is practising his speech. No need to worry about him making rude jokes, we won't understand a word he says! And he has sorted the stag do out - it will be an all boys music and curry night, Chef providing a selection of curries to go with the home brew and the Good Ole Boys providing the music. Handcuffs as usual provided by the Ennessdee Village Police Choir, who will also be doing backing vocals on some of the Good Ole Boys' more obscure jazz-rap-rock fusion numbers.....I think Tatty and us girls need to get our thinking caps on to beat that for a good night out.....

Good evening follow purse string tighteners!

I'm sorry that I've very little time for general chit chat,as I absolutely must go to bed....I've copied down all your lovely captured nsds and fed them to a hungry cauldron.Thank you! :j:j

Newbies and old newbies added to the front page and front page updated.Hi there! :D
Some prizes given out too. :D

A 'real' nsd for me today. No spends at all.

The latest Wimbledon 'anyone for tennis' news: Igor will be playing on centre court tomorrow,up against the world's numero uno apparently....He's been practicing all weekend, playing like a real pro and has a great backhand, new balls, double winner slice,or something like that....all this tennis lingo,it's like white noise to me now....Igor's handwriting is hard to read tbh.

Hubert has had his first fitting for his gorgeous Maid of Honour dress. The dressmaker is now under heavy sedation.

No Hubert, the bride wears a pretty garter belt...you don't need one...

    Stupid boy.

Got to go really. There's a skin forming on my cocoa.:eek:
