I'm a coffee addict :D but I'll be good with a cup of tea, thank you very much!

There is a jar of coffee hidden in the bushes behind the portaloo.Don't let on....

You sound like you've got it all sorted out for the challenge.Good luck!

scotmum well done on getting that vital first nsd.

Hubert has kindly offered to go to work in your place.I would strongly advise you not to accept his offer,as he might just get you fired.
Otherwise he'll happily come round to visit you during your break, along with some of Igor's brownies and a nice cuppa. :)

    Where's everybody?

Been in bed all day again, recovering from my 3rd and final nights shift (this week). thanks to the heavy rain last night/early this morning, I had a good sleep.

Managed to bag another NSD, my first ever 4 in a row! Yay! Hubby and DS's plagued with hay fever so they stayed indoors with me, which helped in keeping the NSD. While sleeping beauty was asleep (moi) they all fended for themselves food wise and came up with a very strange combination of boiled eggs dipped in a bowl of tinned plum tomato and sauce. They all liked it but I just couldn't stomach it. Give me hard boiled eggs with soy sauce anytime but not with tomato sauce. Yes, it is confirmed my family is weird. Hehehehe. And we're getting weirder by the day in trying to preserve the NSD. Well, as they say, whatever works.

Two of my items got sold on eBay. One for only 99p (I think I paid 50p for it in a sale anyway) and the other one sold for £10.50. Every little helps. As soon as my pot gets to £50 I will move it across to pay the credit card. More to go on the list tomorrow.

I was hoping to go to the car boot tomorrow to sell some stuff and generate some extra income, but I realise I need to work in the garden or it is going to turn into a forest not just a jungle. The seedlings in the propagators need to be transplanted in the makeshift raised bed. They will provide free meals in the next few weeks so it's still going to help money wise. Maybe I can reschedule the car boot next week.

I need to go to bed soon to get back to the normal sleeping pattern. See you all tomorrow.

    Ah,it's scotsmumof3. :)

    Too bad about the rain...

The cauldron is getting a bit peckish...glad to see that you have an 2nd nsd to offer up. :j:j

I'm glad that you would never consider letting Hubert fill in for you at work.
A while back there was an nsder who took Hubert up on his offer. This was before donkey spanx had been invented.
Hubert spent two hours in the loos fixing his lips, then came out in a pretty ra ra skirt and did his Beyonce impression just outside the boss's office (whose door was open). As you can imagine,he made quite an impression.
That person was me,but I was leaving that job anyway. :wall:

As for the wedding,we will also have karaoke of course. :D

Now,one thing that I believe we haven't discussed is the wedding meal...

Any ideas, other than the perennial favourite of vindaloo sprouts curry and mash, lemon garlic champagne, with chocolate moose with a raspberry coulee for pudding?

PS as for dignity, well,I don't really know what that is any more after all my many dealings with various Ennessdee Towers residents, naming no names of course.

marmite blinks back the tears as she heads off to bed via the kitchen to pick up her nightly brew.

Friday nights and weekends can be pretty quiet.

Well done on getting not just 3 but 4 in a row! :j:j:j
You get two presents for that! :D

Are you sure that DH and the children haven't been raiding Igor's best selling cookbook 'Be The Best: The Hairy Naked Chef Spills The Beans'?
They certainly seem to be strongly influenced by him,but maybe need to be bolder with the flavours (pilchard goes with most things).
Anything that stops the pennies from falling from your purse is good. ;)

    Hope you sleep ok.

scotmum you really work in a china shop?Cheffie wants to do some target practice tomorrow..... :rotfl:
