Got to go really. There's a skin forming on my cocoa.:eek:
That's strange....Igor assures me that when he makes cocoa, the skin goes in first, before the milk and the cocoa.......One life - your life - live it!0 -

You're sure that it's plain 'common or garden' vanilla, pure, unadulterated strawberries and a lovely sweet fruity sauce?
No pilchards, ferrets or essence of wildebeest in sight?
No mini quiches or vindaloo sprouts coulee hiding in the scoops of ice cream?
No chocolate sprinkles?
Ok then,yes please!
I can recommend one of those, marmite, they are lovely.
Apart from the bits of crunchy frog at the bottom, don't half get in yer teeth! One life - your life - live it!0 -

Oooh we will have to come up with something VERY special for the wedding meal. We could start with Haggis stuffed with pilchards cooked slowly in some of Igors lovely turnip wine with a lovely puree of sprouts and pickles.
** scotmum rushes off to find her "100 ways with sprouts** cookbook.**
scotmum sounds lovely, but why all this Haute Cuisine stuff...haggis aux pilchards, pureed sprouts:isn't that pushing the boat well out?Ok for Lizzie maybe, but isn't it a bit fancy for us plebs? :rotfl:
You must promise never to show Igor this book!
BTW Hubert has very good people skills and a nice telephone manner if ever you're short staffed.Good morning all,
Yesterday was NSD 4/15 and I am declaring today as NSD 5/15 which brings me to my first 5-in-a-row. I hope this month turns out better than last month where I was busy with work. My work contract has been renewed but it means I may be living in two cities and also combining that with launching a book and building a business. What have I got myself into? lol. Have a great day everyone
Well done on your first '5 in a row' win. That's quite an achievement. :j:j
You sound very busy.I hope it all goes smoothly for you.Saver-upper wrote: »Am I too late..........am I too late..........??
I am stalking around here because I remember Nargleblast is getting close to Debt-freedness,and I wanted to be here to celebrate when it happens :j:j.
Can I join again?Been away for too long.I aim for 10 NSD's this month, off to tot-up how many I have had so far.
Tis never too late to join the challenge, unless it's the last day of the month of course!
Welcome back Saver-upper!
I hope that life is treating you well.
Nargle I don't get it.It was only a few weeks ago that you had three months to go...where does the time go?
Argh! I forgot all about Igor's new crunchy frog sprinkles - and you can also buy crunchy frog truffles and toffees for that special person in your life.
'Various nsders turn a strange shade of puce and run out of the room heading for the WC'.

On second thoughts,please don't answer that.0 -
