Sending hugs to dancemum. That is horrible...

Nice meal out with 2 colleagues last night. Good to catch up on all the work gossip. One had her 4 year-old granddaughter with her.. she was really good and was a credit to her family...

    Morning all

So lovely to come down to a much cleaner and tidier kitchen after yesterday's efforts.

CY glad you went out and enjoyed yourself.

Mass list of things left to do (family will be enlisted)
    DS3 clear and dust desk
DS2 clear and dust desk, strip and remake bed, make cricket teas
DH clean all inside of windows; strim grass strip; hoover and mop hall; shower room, dining room; take DS3 to cricket. Deal with carpet guy.

    Left for me more delegation:
    Feed neighbours mogs
Clean bathroom including mopping the floor
    Clean mirrors and shower screen
    Dust hallway
    Dust DR
    Financial paperwork
Deliver and set up cricket teas
Drop a couple of things through neighbours doors

    Gardening
    Back
    Pot on Dahlias
    Deheading
Clear and sweep decking and terrace
    Bang nails in decking (DS2)

    Front
    Plant out beans
Plant out all dahlias and cosmos
    Weed bed between driveways
Picks soft fruit (kids can do)
    Watering tonight.

Best get a wiggle on, DS3 already started on his desk, DS2 can get out of his bed and strip it. I'll write a note for each person so no reason to miss chores (DS1 will be doing kids cricket training this morning then straight on to match, he can help with what is left over tomorrow!)

    Morning All

Sorry I haven't been about much this week as work and home have been pretty manic!

CY - you've been in my thoughts.

    LW - hugs

    Dancemum - hugs

    Congratulations to Valli's DD

Bunbun - you were thinking about me re Scouts - glad your DS took part.

We're going out today to buy DS's prom suit (primary) then we have got his football awards evening tonight. I'm going to strip our bed when I get out of it in a min and then see where we go from there.

    Have a good day all

    Hugs

Thank you everyone. Your continued support is keeping me going. Waiting for the scan results by phone next week is very difficult.

Hmmm seem to have a problem with my WM it comes up with how long each cycle is, for instance 50 minutes, and it's taking atleast twice as long?! Nothing else seems to be pressed in? Don't know what to do?!
    !

Have you cleaned the filter out recently or the water inlets in the drawer? the water inlet requires taking out the drawer and scrubbing the gacky stuff off the top of the drawer slot.. they get icked up with detergent and softener and its gross, normal running a clean cycle doesn't clean that bit!

It could also be you are using too much wash powder and it is causing loads of suds which the machine is struggling to rid itself of so run a clean cycle too. If that doesn't work it may be the pipe from the drum to the filter is partially obstructed to not emptying as fast as it should.

2.5 loads of washing on the line.. glorious drying day here!
    2x WM

big rubbish chucked out the front and removed <3

missymoo is the machine old? Could be the heating element if scaled up and not working as efficiently. The hotter the wash the more 'out' the time would be.

    Online banking all sorted.
    DS2 making the cricket teas
    DS1 training kids
    DH out running
    DS3 being a PITA
    WM1 on

    Shower for me.
