Mr LW has had his June pay packet so he's now solvent again (I'm not yet, but will be eventually);) And he got a final cheque from the "other party's" insurance re the car crash, so thats a couple hundred squid he didn't expect.:o
Highlight of my day - getting the bath towels washed and dried! Oh what an exciting life I lead!:rotfl:
Looking forward to next Friday, when the Noyz Boyz will be here.:DIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Back from paid stuff, two hours weeding turned into three, so merged straight into paid stuff so didn't get time to come home and shower between. Home for food, Dh fed and returned back to work. Got some washing to hang out then need to do some flying and ring DD2 to check what time she's round tomorrow.
LW glad you are ok now and have the noyz boyz to look forward to.
bossy your ring sounds perfect, and incredibly beautiful.
Shocked by what's been happening in the world while I've been out. My thoughts are with anyone affected by what's happening.SPC~12 ot 124

oh dear, feeling very ashamed and popping head around door gingerly.........
I offer you all my confession - to falling off the fly-wagon again
I thought I could go it alone. How wrong I was. My house has slid into CHAOS.
Please have me back
I need to think about how best I can tackle the routines though as it wasn't quite working for me. One of the problems I think was 'just popping onto the computer to get the list' and then finding the internet time-drain had stolen all my cleaning time! :rotfl:
Anyway, as a little update on my day, I've had a lovely morning pottering at the allotment with the smallest one and I have some elderflower cordial steeping and a couple of jars of gooseberry and elderflower jam made this afternoon to show for it
I won't try to catch up on the thread but just jump right in here if thats ok. Hope all the long-time flyladies and any new joiners are all ok anyway0 -
Hair is cut and the disgusting kitchen floor has been hoovered and mopped. Mogs main bedding in the wash, other lot to follow.
Mog feeding and neighbour's mog feeding and then I think I'll hoover the rest of downstairs. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
DS3 in for hair mincing tomorrow at 12:30.. its his prom at 7.. loads time for hair and make up (DD2's job)
Off to throw dinner in the oven and get the DW on and maybe get some more washing sorted.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
It's horrifying, Mrs MP x
DS been sent to bed. Although he did make me laugh on the way home- apparently his friend has been using naughty words, when I asked which one he didn't want to say at first, but in the end said "Bill Oddy" :rotfl: I think he meant "bloody". I said well it's not nice but it could be worse, he replied "yes, he could have used the 'I' word!" And then whispered "idiot" :rotfl: gotta love 6yr old boys
But, he has hit his sister then was rude to me when I gave a warning. Not standing for that nonsense!
I've cleaned out my cutlery drawer, inc the insert. Honestly- how do they get so grotty, it's not like I put dirty stuff back in! It was yuck! All cutlery flung in DW too, for good measure.
Shopping was delivered and put away, with all the drinks for next weekend - is all on the dining room cabinet.
Tomorrow I need to fill up the car, wash it and vac it out. Supposed to be visiting a friend, then want to turn my attention to the garage... I may be some time!Bossymoo
Away with the fairies :beer:0 -
Just nipped over to water neighbours plants and noticed answer machine was flashing when I got back. I think I've just had a dirty phone call off dearth vader. LOL it went on for about two mins but was literally just someone doing really slow rasping breaths down the line. I have pressed 1471 in case anyone I know needed help for asthma or anything.SPC~12 ot 124
