Sorry not been around much - had a hard day yesterday as my poor Whippet collapsed when we were out walking. Thankfully he's fine again now but the vet said he had heat stroke, poor love (dog that is, not the vet!). Also DH landed a new job yesterday in Basingstoke; we're not going to move up there for now and will see what happens - he'll be away a few nights a week and each way takes about 90 mins by car; at the moment it can take him 45 mins to go 8 miles as traffic so chronic around here! So been having a lot to think about.

Done my level 1 and 2s thanks guys and things are looking much better.

Pigpen well done on being so controlled yesterday with KH; he's a piece of work by the sounds of it.

    Hi all

Just checking in quickly. Have coloured my hair, changed our sheets, washed the bedroom paintwork including the lovely louvre doors on our bedroom cupboards, hoovered the bedroom and sorted some washing.

Just sent an e-mail that needed doing and off to put shepherds pie in the oven for tea.

Hope the dog's fully recovered now Mumof2. Mine is suffering with his hayfever at the moment!

    Right, things to do ..

Mossy moo, it's far far better for kiddies to catch chicken pox while young. My Dhs mum kept him off school if anyone in his class was ill as he was so precious to her, every time our kids got something he came down with it as well, he was really really ill with chickenpox I don't think there was an inch that didn't have blisters on!!

Back from dentist gone for the delaying option of another temp filling, it was that or extraction but I'd have to make up mind straight away if I wanted implant before the gap closed and that would be £1,500ish!!!!! Had talk with self on way home and that is NOT an option so if fill comes out I will go with extraction and let gap close as its the back one next to wisdom anyway.

Going to sort food out water neighbours garden then do something to tidy here.

psychologist done with DS3.. he has fortnightly appointments for the foreseeable. The Daddy issues turned into a 45 minute rant.. I said very little tbh and just let him go with it. He was sitting very defensively.. arms folded and curled into himself but did seem to relax as he continued saying why he was miserable about it. We touched on the transgender thing and she is seeing if she can access other support around transition for him. She was most impressed that we all took it with a pinch of salt.. none of us really care tbh so long as he is happy and healthy that's all that matters.. he is still he as he decided to wait until he had found a suitable name before we change that. We have to go prom shopping tomorrow and cripple the credit card.

Sausages cooked at lunch to do casserole tonight. nomnomnom.

    4x washing
2 got outside I'll do the rest shortly.

New loo installed.. it is beautiful.. but now I need new flooring and to sort the back wall as it is tiny! I love it. All smooth and dust-gathering-space-less .. best ebeast some more!

I used to love it when Kim & Aggie were on, that used to motivate me something shocking with housework.

Now it is Obsessive Compulsive Cleaners but not as much as those two hardy women :D

Pigpen - just give it time and he'll get there :)

Aww, I liked Kim and Aggies too :)

Some tidying has happened here, I've even scrubbed the WM drawer :T
And DD tidied her room after a fashion, I suppose I did most of it...

Tomorrow my mum is popping over to party plan. I'm not letting her stress me out with silly ideas for catering. I just want simple, bung in the oven stuff. I don't wish to be carving hog roasts or pulling joints of pork. I want the land of ice to deliver several boxes of party platters, some pizzas, spiral fries and ice lollies :) it's meant to be a party with a bit of grub, not a gastro experience! I want to spend time enjoying and chatting and laughing with friends and family. Not stuck in the kitchen!

Anyway. I've built my storage boxes for the garden stuff, so that's a good start. I'm going to hose down the new path in the morning and I just spotted how grubby the bathroom window is from all the cutting of paving slabs. I've cleaned the kitchen ones already.

Actually, I think I'll just go and "evergr33n" my back lawn...
