anyone looked at the new forum design yet? Thoughts? Not certain I like change....
Yes I have, and I dislike it intensely. I'm sticking with the old familiar green for as long as possible.

Mr LW wanted to play "Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning"..... til I reminded him he said this morning that he'd mow the front lawn tonight. Guess where he is now? *evil grin*
I don't mind doing the back; no-one will see me if I fall over. But I hate, hate, HATE being out the front on my own, so I don't do it during the day, and as he's here now, he might as well do it, yes? :o

    Another vote for Old style

Well done Piggers. I remember my ex spouting carp at the judge (about keeping back some of the pittance he 'paid' me so that he 'would have some money to spend when he had them) and the judge pointing out the error of his ways.

Have pegged out 3 washloads, next on is in ready for the off; ironed a maidenful. DS has started sorting through his clutter - hopefully this means he will have some space.

And DD has PASSED HER FIRST YEAR EXAMS *GLOWS WITH PRIDE*

    Level Two
Wipe dining table.. and check the underside.. (clean table cloth if necessary)
    Level Three
Dust any extra furniture in dining area, checking for cobwebs on way round… lightshades need doing!
    Extras
    • Wipe window sills and clean windows in these rooms

Can't get near dining room table - Both using it as desks at the moment. Will attack it Thursday/Friday when DH away.

    Level Three
Clean any other glass like mirrors, pictures etc
    Extras:

Noticing a theme here. May do all the glass and windows in one later in the week. It's more efficient:rotfl:

    Evening!

I've caught up with kitchen duties except the floor. LR still a dust pit though. Although fairly tidy. Same cannot be said for my office space which I shall attend to tomorrow since I need to actually work in it...

I'm also planning to use my re-posted whirligig tomorrow- dry weather and plenty of laundry!

    Well done to ValliGirl :T

DS getting very run down. Now mouth ulcers. On top of toe-warts, bit of athletes foot and a "too hot tummy". Might see if I can get some vitamin tonic for him. And maybe some probiotic yoghurt drinks. Wondering whether to keep him off beavers this week and stick to early nights...

  • Hi all,

Busy today, after paid stuff and school pickup had to go school trainer shopping with dd1 ( why her feet choose to grow so near to the end of the school year I don't know 😕 ) and then by the time I'd made tea and enforced homework and then did bedtime stuff and daily stuff there wasn't much time for anything else. Did do a weeny bit from the lists though.
Valli well done to your DD. pigpen you sound like you had exactly the right attitude today and KH didn't, well done.
    CY thinking of you x

Tomorrow off the paid stuff, but got to walk dog, then dentist, then some long sport related thing with DD1 all afternoon.
    See you later x

Tantalising Tuesday ~ Living Room, Hall and Stairs
    Level One
    Level Two
Clean TV, other electricals and cabinets
    Level Three
Wipe light switches, sockets (make sure they are not switched on!!) and banister
Clean any other glass like mirrors, pictures etc
    Extras:
Paperwork clearance.. spend 15 minutes minimum sorting through those piles of paper.
Vacuum under furniture you can manage to move without hurting yourself
    Clean a window or two.
Get yourself a bag or box, go around collecting things that are not in the place they should be, then put them back where they should be, or better still give them to their owners to put away themselves
