Ok have hung washing up, picked up toys, cooked myself some tea, done the on line shop and put the bread maker on.
Will Hoover and do the dishwasher in the morning, can't be bothered now. Bread maker seems to be taking for ever, can't go to bed til i've got it out!
  • Hi all,

It was my long day at the paid stuff today, so not much done from list. But I'm going to post it for motivations sake.
Hope everyone OK, CY sending all the good thoughts I can think over to you! Pigpen sternly tell your BD to get in its bed and stay.
kazw I don't think you have lost it, my view is that it is really worth spending money on something if it takes away stress. My garden is too big for me to cope with, it is all i can do to mow the grass. As soon as I have spare money I will be doing the same.

If its gone I've done it

Back from cricket, it has been a long day.

Kitchen floor no nearer to being washed, maybe tomorrow.

One of my other estranged cousins has sent me a facebook request. So odd seeing a picture of adult cousins, aunt and uncle who I have not seen for over 40 years and one I've never met and a whole brood of their children.

Good luck dancemum there are definitely plus points in working.

And missy yuk, don't you love being a mum sometimes eh?

I think I have had pigpens visitor with me for the last few days but feeling a bit better tonight. Going to the gym helps.

And CY maybe the family will feel better when you know exactly what you are dealing with. Hugs.

Kitchen is done, some paperwork for OH sorted, yet another appt re DS and his future education dealt with. Bedtime now.

I'm dog sitting too.. the BD has taken up residence here.. he is pretty big... and staying a week at least.. Expect very little of me and you'll not be disappointed.

My BD can go on walkies with yours every now and again Piggers.. I'm beginning to think that I am starting a BD rescue centre, I'm sure I have more than one turning up now... Everywhere I look there is a BD..weird!!!!

Am happy that I can have a lay in tomorrow, although probably will have to get up at 6am to feed the dogs, cats, chickens and tortoises plus all the others that are at sisters house.. Still at least I can go back to bed till later, then come home, with niece, and have a shower and brekkie.. Scruffydog has to go to the vets in the afternoon for a check up..but good news is that he has improved considerably. Think he might not need that operation on his tooth now..fingers crossed :D

    Spoons and love to everyone...x

Oh dear there really is a pack of Hounds to be chased away. My muttley loves to chase off other dogs so I'm sending her virtually to deal with black dogs.

I had to do more ironing at the paid work so I'm all ironed out. I put away the little ones ironing and edited/organised DD2's chest of drawers. I will be ebaying tomorrow.

I had a snooze this afternoon because I was awake at 5. I need to sort out my sleep! I really miss my lady, I think it's all part of the grieving process.

CY - sending a big squishy hug and calming vibes

Spoke to the Dr on the phone today about my second x-ray. The fracture is in my ankle and is still not healed. I have to wait another four weeks before they will look at it again as they allow up to 16 weeks for a fracture like this to heal. The Dr's really nice and has promised me physio once it's healed.

It's not just the discomfort that's the bother but I'm so fed-up not being able to get out and about and spending so much time sitting down with it elevated to keep the swelling down. I am now ok in the house with being on it for about half an hour and then sitting for about an hour.

However, looking on the bright side at least I can sit and watch Wimbledon (starts next week) without feeling guilty :D

Managed to get all the boxes planted out on the balcony today and need a few more plants for the big pots then that's finished until the Autumn.

If it's gone I've done it or don't have one

    Hi all x

Not much flying here today, just 2x WM and flung on the line, washing up and a quick Hoover downstairs. Not worried though as I have been babysitting my 10 month old grandson for the very first time. My DiL has been a bit funny about leaving him with any of our family (this is the polite version) only her mother has ever had him although she gets to keep him over night every weekend. Took him to the soft play at my work and we had lots of fun, I've had a great day all he does is laugh and smile. No a tear until his dad was taking him home.

Will try to do better on the flying front tomorrow but I have an information day about DS2s college course in the morning and a reservation to pick up for DD at the shopping centre and paid stuff in the evening so we will see!

keep that positive thinking. Healing vibes being sent to you with love xx
piggers Tossing a caber your way for the BD. Love AND hugs being sent to you. You know where I am if you need a pal.
NV :hello: If you look at the first post there is a link to Toots welcome letter that contains all the information about this thread. Once you have read it you're officially a paid up member of the mad house. Feel free to post when you like. We are a lovely bunch here ( that's if you don't count me I'm a nutter:D)

  • Morning everyone.

    CY continued healing vibes.
Sticks for all those pesky BDs.
LynneJK sorry about your ankle must have missed the posts whilst away - enjoy the tennis!
    Good luck for job applicants.

Weigh in today and rather hopeful - have been really strict the last two days!!
Need to ring the quacks myself as the third lot of mossy bites are still very dodgy!

Will try to get on with flying this afternoon - yesterday was given over to washing, ironing and shopping! Though I am pleased as I put all the ironing away and even kondo'd my undies!

Have a good day everyone. x
