Oh well done pigpen! He sounds like the biggest idiot in the world. You did well not to punch his stupid face! Fingers crossed it gets sorted sooner rather than later, and that they do a proper job And make him disappear! I was thinking of you.

Sorry I haven't been posting - too much going on atm. I am trying to catch up with all the work I haven't done for weeks, and yesterday finally managed to complete my report on the German exchange visit which took place a month ago.

Today I have decluttered £71 at @1d!, 2 lb at SW and £13 at the hairdresser's (no. 5 all over ) and driven 10 miles to deal with 5-minutes' worth of business. Also called in at the CS with a bag of bits and bought myself a pretty little black M'n'S jacket for just £2. I dropped in to see a friend, defrosted both my !!!!!!, have put all the shopping away and cooked lunch, and I've made 2 phonecalls. Now waiting for the hospital to ring me about rescheduling an appt for me - re my eye problem after my fall and black eye in February, which by now is back to normal as far as I know (but I will go and have it checked out, just in case).

Special (((hugs))) to CY - will be thinking of you on Thursday morning - and calm coping vibes to all the family.

Hi just a quick catchup. Well done Iona - I put on 3.5 but it could have been double!! Have shopped, then shopped again as I forgot my sleeve prescription yesterday.


Just about to sort banking in prep for next week's month end and preparing to blast the pension people if they haven't contacted me before 9 am tomorrow. Not sure what comp. you can get for delays in payment - but it is their fault they didn't send the papers out to me in time!!!


Busy day tomorrow so if I don't get on the thread - hugs for you on Thursday CY. Well done Pigpen.

Patch was duly collected yesterday; I have spent a large portion of today removing white dog-hairs from all over the bungalow!:D

Next booking - not til 3rd July, when Harvey & Charlie, aka the Noyz Boyz arrive for 3 days. I need to do some exercises to strengthen my waist in the meantime.
To explain - because my hands are so arthrtitic, I attach the dogs' leads to a belt fastened round my waist, and those lads pull like crazy!:D

Going to do neighbours watering now and see what I can do to tidy. Before having to sort food out.

Just back from paid stuff and got tea going. Will go collect babes soon. Emptied fridge of anything ancient as its bin day tomorrow. Also put some packaging out - may as well fill it...

Builder appears to be having trouble with the manhole cover :rotfl: I'm sure he'll get to the bottom of it, so to speak;) anyway he has some roofing and guttering to take away with him so fingers crossed he will come tomorrow while I'm home and he can have a gentle reminder;)

I have a first class mess here!

Despite in the court papers him saying he and his baggage live together he denied this and said they don't so the court didn't investigate her.. erm.. they are supposed to be getting married are they going to live separately??

Apparently there are 'serious allegations' being made against me.. which of course if they turn out to not be true I WILL be making a move on should I need to..

Sounds like the karma pin is on it's way to burst his balloon. (I was very tempted to use the verb pr**k instead). Has nobody talked to your elder kids yet about this? Will they be allowed to speak?

I saw it a while ago when it changed itself didn't like it if I'm honest so will be staying on this style as long as I can.
