Well I'm back after a great few days in France with my brother. Apart from a little hassle at Calais on Tues (lucky we were on a motor bike as it was easy to chase around finding transport - we were booked on a ferry but ended up via the tunnel) we had a good time, no arguments, enjoyed the midsummer music festivals.

So.........back to catchup before Mr N and I go North of the Border next week also a motorbiking trip.

I made a monster list this morning and so far achieved:
*caught up on most urgent email actions and skimmed the rest
    *paid a couple of bills
    *2 loads washing hung out
    *most of holiday stuff unpacked
*arranged an assessment for next week before I go
*put away loads of stuff in kitchen (mine mainly not Mr N's), swept and mopped kitchen floor
*did a rose arrangement in a new bowl
*fed/watered all conservatory plants and hanging baskets
    *done various other garden stuff.

Tomorrow I have a student at home for 2hrs then another effort at sorting out everything that needs it (that should take until about November).

BIL coming at weekend so I need to check bedroom and bathroom at least.
    A1di this eve.

    Lots of sticks to everyone.
    Hugs to CY

Back from paid stuff, have watered neighbours garden and green house, made cakes for Saturday's cake stall, need to cool and be iced in the morning, have volunteered to do two hours weeding at school tomorrow so the grounds look nice for the fete. Feed the boys as they have Jitty to go to. Got some washing to hang out now and the dyson to push round.

Upstairs looking so much better. DS2&3 need to clear and dust their desks, I need to remake DS3's bed and clean the bathroom. DS1 has clothes to put away. Carpet fitter coming to measure on Saturday so I needed to get it done!

Need to pop out soon to collect my JL sale shopping and the bricks a builder filling a skip said I could take for my path in the veg patch.

Front garden needs watering and neighbour's cat to be shut in for the night yet.
