Pigpen its good that your DS talks to the psychologist and great that you have got on ongoing referral. Mine wont/cant express his feelings so at the moment is not being treated. I really hope it helps.

Right, best get ready for the day.

She asked if he was ok with me being in the meetings and he said he didn't mind as he wasn't to moan about me anyway lol. but it was the first appointment and I had said to him there were things they would probably ask about family or him when he was little he doesn't know the answers to but if he wants me to come for that bit then leave that was ok or I could just wait in reception with my candy crush and book and note writing.. but he wanted me to go with him. He was meeting a strange person for the first time so that may be why and he may not want me next time, we will take it one appointment at a time. One good thing was she asked me how I felt his moods were and when the issues arose mainly and other stuff he might not be aware of but I am. That really helped I think. She asked both of us some questions, who we felt helped him, what certain issues and feelings are about.. But it might be worth you either making a separate appointment with the psych. to discuss your young person or to attend an occasional appointment together so you can highlight the issues, prompt them to open up a little and say what is working/better/worse/ and which areas need help. This is the second time a CAMHS referral has gone through to appointment stage for us after 5 referrals for him, 3 for DD3 and 1 for Moomin.

ETA.. we have this appointment because Ds3 wanted it, he asked for it and I believe that is the main factor.. you cannot help someone until they are receptive and recognising the need.

Love and hugs as always to our sickies.. CY.. you are in our thoughts too xx

    Morning all

    CY thinking of you x

No paid stuff so off to JL to order carpet and look at clearance. Then cleaning like a mad thing or it will never get done. WM1 about to go on the line and WM2 on.

Whiz is fine now thanks as proved by this morning's walk - took a water bottle for him but he was fine and ran round with his little friend Henry.

Had a cuppa, now off to attack bathroom.

Anyone fancy a HHC or realistically 2 from 11? If you fancy joining me feel free.

Hugs CY hoping your appointment brings lots of positive news xx

Mostly flying outdoors today. Builder brought his invoice - exactly what we agreed :T even though he measured incorrectly. I've hosed down the new path, moved the troughs to the front and put geraniums in, and moved the spare slabs into position for my storage boxes to stand on.

DD has helped sweeping and I've had the garden vac out too.

Mum has been, written me a list of things to get for the party (all can come with a shopping delivery) and she's got a list too. She just needs to ask MIL about my "surprise" cake as we need to know whether a second will be required given the numbers that might be coming (we've counted 60  but probably not all at the same time, and none will stay for the entire day anyway).

Think DD friend is not coming, didn't see them this morning so no firm plans made. She's not asked. Not sure the mum isn't a bit of a flake :rotfl:

Tea will be something out of the freezer, need to make some space... And we've got beavers later.

Can you forgive me a proud moment please as done more today around the house than I've done for ages - took multiple HHCs but this is what I've done:

Cleaned the toilets, basins, bath and showers including shower trays. I've left the toilet bowls with some of that limescale remover gel stuff in as the bowls get discoloured due to our hard water). I also did the pedestals
    Cleaned all the tiles
    Scrubbed the bathroom floors
    Cleaned the mirrors
    Wiped down the cabinets
    Cleaned the bathroom blind
    Wiped down the windows
Cleaned the window sills (they were bleugh but didn't realise just how bad they were)
Threw out old toothbrushes/paste/shower gel etc

May not seem a lot to you seasoned cleaners but it's making a big psychological difference to me. Hope to get to the stage where I no longer cringe when someone turns up unexpectedly but long way to go. Baby steps!

Now for paid work - be school run time before I know it.

Hope all is OK with CY.

When DS was younger we had a few appointments with the psychologist on our own which was really helpful but there is only so much of that you can do. Just waiting for this referral to happen for autism testing which will help. It all just takes so long.

Anyone seen my motivation? I am sure I had it somewhere. Sigh. Need to go and scrub my bathroom, what an exciting life I lead. Ok doodling around on here is not achieving anything is it?

Mumof2 I too have done more today than for ages. Just having a little rest and then putting the rest of WM3 on the line and starting WM4.

YL I think I may have your GUAG, I'll sent it back tonight, enjoy the sun and rest.
