For me a NSD is where I spend nothing apart from regular / scheduled bank payments and direct debits.

  • A NSD for me is if I don't open my purse...either for cash or a card purchase. DD's and So's etc don't count. (but then I'm a newbie).

NSDs for me are any day when I don't spend anything from my groceries budget. I've had 1 NSD and hoping today will also be one.

Did my main shop yesterday and spent £38.56 so not too bad as my budget is about £50 per week.

Hello, joining up again with the same budget as last month - I busted it by a fiver, just under, but well... holidays :D

Put me down for £130 please!

First spend done in Morrison's - lots of pop to keep me cool at work, just because it's nice. :)
    Keep reading books!
August grocery challenge Budget £150. Spent so far: £98.49. Remaining: £51.51

  • Yesterday me and OH went shopping and spent £16.43. Almost kept to our list, but there was a reduced seasoned pork joint for £2.50 which OH couldn't resist. Yesterday's dinner and today's lunch was pulled pork wraps. Today I am going to a leaving do, which I had budgeted into my month's other spending so today will be a NSD :)

I'd like to join in with the grocery challenge too please. I spent way too much on food shopping and would like to set a budget of £400. This is for myself, hubby, teenage daughter and 1 dog, 1 cat.
Spent £4.96 so far at L!dls. Trying to make more of an effort to do my weekly shop there instead of the bigger shops.

Just wondering, what do you guys consider to be an nsd? Is it a day you don't spend any money on groceries or a day you don't spend anything at all? (such as paying a bill etc)
We are the same as some others in that we count it as an NSD if we don't spend anything from the grocery/household budget :)

Funnily enough we had an NSD today. We had egg and cheese salad with avocados and jacket pots for dinner today :D

We will have to go shopping the morrow but hope to keep it down if possible.

Hope you all have a super Saturday
