A spend in the weight watchers meeting and Morrison's over the weekend has added another £67, quite a big dent to the budget. Lots to come from cashback and voucher codes though.Keep reading books!
July grocery challenge START: £150.

Have had to change my planned meal for tonight as want to have another NSD to take me to 5/20 so 1/4 of the way there in less than a week:).
Was going to do a vegetable lasagne and then found I'd run out of lasagne sheets; dinner tonight will now be a veggie bolognaise with either spaghetti or pasta spirals! Most of this veg needs using up as bought nearly a week ago or picked from garden on Friday.
Will need to go shopping tomorrow again to get some more veg.
Off to add lasagne sheets to my shopping list for tomorrow!

That is good to know! I have never tried it. I suppose it is just bread with a filling. It wasn't sure if the filling would freeze properly. What is the quality like once defrosted?July Grocery Challenge: £52.76/£140

they have always been fine when defrosted .. I normally defrost in a Tupperware tub however many I am needing ... don't know what they would be like a day or so later as they never last that long once defrosted

2 NSDs over the weekend, but we spent £18.00 today for some fruit (though I have switch the fruit I am having to make it cheaper), wraps and other lunch stuff and drinks to last the week. Let's hope the big shop this week will not be so large.Joined April 2015 :j0

I had hoped for a NSD but I caved and went to the 'Reduced to clear' fridge in my local Tesco. Picked up a few bargains, including Walls Sausages for 59 p; a tub of fresh Tomato and Basil Pasta Sauce for 70 p, and a mac n cheese microwaveable lunch pot for 88p.
So my total is now as follows: £29.98/£140.00July Grocery Challenge: £52.76/£140

I know it's a few days into the month, but can I join for this month please. I have done the big monthly shop, and have £112 left over for the month. I have decided to split this into £28 a week over the next 4 weeks. My aim is that by doing it weekly, I won't run out of money a week/10 days before the end of the month as seems to happen too regularly.
I have picked up 2 loaves of bread today (yellow sticker) for 44p and a bottle of drink for 43p. This leaves me with £27.13 until Sunday night. My weekly top up shop is tomorrow. Aiming to get it under £20.Starting a new debt free journeyStarting Debt: £5,250Current Debt: £4,995.50Amount Paid: £254.50 Percentage Paid: 4.84%Emergency Fund: £3500
