Can I join in too please?
My month is a very short one ending on July 20th so it's just about 3 weeks to go.
My budget is £70 for all food, dog food, household stuff and toiletries.
There's just me and a small greedy dog to cater for.0 -

Hi everyone!
First spends of the month today
£22.37 @ Mr S and £14.34 @ Farmfoods. I needed shampoo so I used my nectar points to get some nice stuff on offer and I had £12.40 in healthy start vouchers which I used to get some lovely fresh fruit and veg.
I managed to get some yellow stickers too; gammon steaks with over £1 off and a basics pork shoulder joint for £3. The only thing with the shoulder joint was when I opened it to split it in two it's more skin and fat that meat, but what did I expect from the basics range? Think I will slow cook it and maybe do a small pulled pork but I've frozen it for now! It felt good going into the shop with a proper list and I stuck to it! No impulse buys! Tomorrow will be a nsd but Friday we're having a friends and family day out and friends want to do a BBQ so I'll need to contribute to that!Trying to fix my finances whilst living with 3 kids and 2 cats! 👩🏻👧🏻👦🏻👶🏼🐱🐱

July food budget-wise starts for me today so I'll draw 80.00 cash and will be taking my shopping trolley down to the freezer / cheap shop in town with the 4yr old after I've dropped the eldest off.
While 80 is the target my freezer and pantry are poor so I might earmark a tenner for stocking up just for this month, I'll see how I got.
Have a good July all!MSE-ing since 20070 -

Just wondering, what do you guys consider to be an nsd? Is it a day you don't spend any money on groceries or a day you don't spend anything at all? (such as paying a bill etc)0
