NSD for me yesterday, making 5/15.

Not sure about today yet, I have another day off work and I'm torn between defrosting a freezer, sorting out the big cupboard, or going out shopping.

Been to A!di this morning and spent £39.37 (as expected higher than usual) £16.55 of this was on fruit & veg as you can see from picture. Even so I forgot to pick up broccoli, cucumber and oranges so will get them Friday/Saturday - will also need eggs and bread by then.
Beans on toast for lunch and DH is having prawns for his tea tonight and I will finish off the pork. Egg custard for afters and also have some tinned peaches so will have what are left when take mum some down with her meal tonight.

    Hiya everyone :hello:

I checked the credit account and found the amount for A*di on Sunday (DH still not found receipt) and it was £23.87 so added it to my totals. That's not too bad as half way through the month and not quite half way through budget :)

Had another NSD today. We had HM cheese, onion and potato pie with baked beans and DH had sausages with his.

Hope you all have a thrifty Thursday

    Good evening. :D

I ended up lazing around most of the day (holiday), so no cupboard sorted or freezer defrosted, but on the plus side I also avoided shopping, so I've had another NSD, making 6/15 so far this month.

A bigger than usual spend today. Think it was probably because I was short of time so only went to Mr Ts and Iceland rather than shopping around. Spent a total of £43.90; total for month now standing at £143.30/£250 so should still come in under budget but don't think they'll be much left to go into savings.

Also up to 11/20 NSDs so hopefully will finally manage the 20 this month!

    NSD today :)

Got to be very careful with grocery spends till the end of the month, as I,ve had an unexpected bill, so the more I can save on food, the easier it will be.

I paid the bill with my Christmas savings, so need to pay it back in

Always one step forward, two steps back.....
