Also this question on a consumer website, actually, two different problems- cheapdisabilityaids " sensory education"

    http://whatconsumer.co.uk/forum/other-goods-and-services/24575-cheap-disability-aids.html

    Eg

"I'm also having a problem with cheap disability aids and looking at reviews on the company, it looks like I am not alone. Their website claims they will respond within 4 to 12 hours. I have been waiting over a week. They sent the wrong thing and now will not respond to emails. In fact, I got a message that due to the high number of emails sent, my email address has been marked as spam and emails will not get through. Phoning only gets someone who sends the same email form and will not let you speak to anyone who could deal with the issue. I want to send the thing back and either get the correct one sent or a refund. As they are not responding and ask that nothing is sent back until authorisation is given am I entitled to get my money back by asking the bank to regain it via chargeback? If I do this, can my credit rating be affected?"

{Quote removed by MSE Investigations} unfortunately you will not get very far with this company short of threatening action or small claims court, please have a read about all of the posts about this company.

they threatened to counterclaim in court and charge me £150 directors fee over a sensory lightbulb (19.99) which failed within warranty.they showed a really nasty side to them.what they dont think about is the child (my daughter) who at the time was really distressed over the change in routines (christmas breakup) made worse by something which did help to calm down but then broke.not to mention their responsibilitys under the SOGA.

thanks to mse the situation was resolved {text removed by MSE Investigations} with a replacement and sent a bunch of flowers in return for deleting the post.bit silly on my part but just wanted my daughter to be able to be calm again.

funnily enough ayear or so later ordered again from them (now changed their name to sensory education) around £60 of goods, never arrived

    Cheapdiabilityaids.co.uk...help!
Hi, has anyone before used the website cheapdisabilityaids.co.uk? As I am having a nightmare with them!

My son was unfortunately left recently disabled from a rare brain disease and I was told sensory toys would be the best thing for him right now.

I ordered a number of items from this site but have had the WORST customer experience I have ever received. Cut a long story short. They took my money the day after I placed my order, did not deliver my goods after paying for a certain type of delivery. I have attempted to complain and find out what is going on but you cannot get through to anyone! You can only contact their "overflow" team who can only request a call back..which surprise surprise I'm not receiving! I was then told yesterday that they've amended my order after I requested for this and it will be delivered now even later! I never of course requested this and am concerned that they have my money, I have no goods and they will not contact me back. I have spoken via email but only received unhelpful rude responses. Anyone dealt with them before and can help me with how I can contact them? They will not listen and have now asked me to not email again!
    Thank you

Well, I've had a run in with their company too (and I'm not even a customer!). Suffice to say that I cannot yet discuss the details, but if it progresses then I would need to in order to get advice on the situation.
