    Your recent order made with Sensory Education Ltd has today been processed by warehouse as this has been returned to us by Royal Mail with the following reason provided:
    Not called for
    In instances of a parcel not being called for Royal Mail hold the parcel for up to 18 calender days.

    Royal Mail do not keep undelivered packages for "up to 18 calendar days". They keep them for the full 18 days.

    As you placed your order on the 31st May with standard delivery, the earliest it could have been posted would have been the 1st June.
    Being generous and allowing 2 days for delivery (and not the 3-5 days stated by the company), delivery would have been attempted on the 3rd or 4th June.
    If as stated, RM then kept the package for 18 days, it would still be in their possession and wouldn't get dispatched back to the seller until next Monday (22nd June) and it would take a further couple of days to get back to them.

    I'm in total agreement that the parcel wasn't even sent out.

    I find it amazing that instead of helping the op to keep the thread intact, you see this as a personal attack. I'm not interested in my or your superiority. I have removed my explaination which you no doubt read .im not interested in having a battle with you-helping the op is the main thing..

    I do not see it as a personal attack at all!

    I posted their mailing address, which is potentially helpful to OP, and you made a cryptic remark which implied that I might be in breach of forum rules.

    Naturally I therefore asked you to report my post if you believed that I had breached the rules, not in order to punish myself but in order to uphold the integrity of the forum. If you weren't correct then it isn't the end of the world, just ignore my reporting request and assume that I wasn't bothered.

    Your response was to "remove your explanation" and assume that I had taken it personally! Forgive me for feeling a bit confused!

    {Text removed by MSE Investigator} I ordered a bubble machine - specifically because it was the model I wanted - hence not buying it on AmaZon. I received it this morning but they sent me a totally different item. It is a bubble machine but a different brand, totally different to the picture, different specification and different colour. The one they sent me also is powered by mains rather than battery. I contacted to arrange return. They tried to blag it by saying it was a more expensive model. I sent them a link showing it was actually £5 cheaper on Amazon for what they sent me (their website shows they 'price match'.) they are trying to claim now that in small print it says on the advert that colour and style can vary. But as I pointed out, it is a totally different model and different functionality. They say I can return it only if not used (fine - it's in the box unremoved!) but I HAVE TO PAY FOR THR RETURN & DELIVERY COSTS - so about £10 for an item I did not order. They didn't communicate in advance to say a different item was being delivered and it is beyond belief they do this to parents of disabled children. {Text removed by MSE Investigator}

    I have a screenshot of what I ordered (in case they {text removed by MSE Investigations} change the picture), so
    how can I make them accept the return and pay for postage that I sure shouldn't be landed with a bill for?

    {Text removed by MSE Investigator} the lady on the phone took my details and told me someone would get back to me. {Text removed by MSE Investigator} I am hoping someone will be in touch, but given the appalling reviews on this company, and their failure to respond to my email outlining how they had breached the Consumer Rights Act (Contract of Goods), they did not respond. {Text removed by MSE Investigator}

    Can anyone remind me. If anyone reading this thread wants to speak to trading standards about this company, do they contact their own nearest trading standards, or the nearest one to the company in Birmingham?

    Also from mumsnet, more bad reviews from parents " sensory education" reviews

    "Please don't order from cheap disability aids site, if you must, do so with caution.

    They have appalling customer service. I brought a a £50 led blanket which I can't get returned. They sell some cheap faulty poor quality goods for which the customer can get no return.

    I will also add half my order from cheap disability aids was missing when it arrived and was unable to get them to respond to my enquiries. Also what i did get was not as pictured or vastly overpriced. I would never order from the site again.

    Perhaps mumsnet is also a good place to raise concerns?
