Totally lost here, a RBS employee changing to First Direct when you say you had no problems with RBS. Now you have a case with the FOS, regarding First Direct ???

    Are you from Venus ??

I was getting £125.00 for switching and that was the only account I could use to meet the criteria. Plus you get interest free overdraft with first direct for the first 250.00 quid. When you move you never know what's gonna happen. :D

  • Just an update today

A quick view on Twitter seems to suggest those that were due money in Wednesday have had them back but I have seen 4 people already today say that wages due in today have not come in so its clearly not fully fixed

Problems aren't necessarily a reason to switch banks - every bank has problems you can't foresee. I've overheard staff at non-RBS banks saying they won't use the RBS tech issues as a reason to persuade customers to switch, as you never know what's around the corner.

I also know bank staff who have their accounts with other banks, because other banks offer them interest.

Out of interest, what is it that makes you list the companies you do in your signature? Is there a financial institution in this country that hasn't done something disgusting? Shouldn't you list them all :money:
