I'm a great one for buying clothes in charity shops and have seen some gorgeous dresses for sale. Most charity shops do refunds so you can buy them and take them home for DD to try and return if not suitable.

Plus there are dress agencies too.......high quality pre-owned clothes for a very good price!

Imported American "culture". Grown like topsy.

Expensive, devisive, and teaches kids all the wrong life lessons.

Look better than everyone else, buy better stuff than everyone else, spend more than everyone else, entitlement to have fun and expect you parents to underwrite everything.

Absolutely gross idea ..... and should be sent back whence it came to the USA forthwith. I'm surprised that more parents don't make a stand and refuse to participate. On second thoughts that's just not going to happen is it. Kids are just generally spoiled nowadays and that's not likely to change anytime soon.
    Rant over

  • Another stupid American import. Complete waste of time and money that few can afford.
  • What exactly is the point of such an item? I may be being dense here (I'm male, so you'll have to forgive me asking apparently stupid questions when it comes to bras :p ) but I always understood them to be for support. If it's stuck on it's not going to be supporting anything

Also for "Fashion malfunctions" - I was dancing and my top slipped down - I unfortunately did not have a sticky bra on - but now I always do

On a positive note everyone remembers my friends wedding :j
