thanks guys, you've made me feel heaps better

AnW's Mum, I don't know your story from the last year but I do know you sound like a strong person and a lovely lady, and your kids look like a brilliant pair.
Craft stuff with them tomorrow is a great idea, I will tell them ion the morning that Daddy might not be home but we can make some welcome home things for him anyway.
Also have some of DSs birthday presents we still haven't played with so might get those out as well.
Anyway 9lb 6  My two were DS 8lbs and DD 6lb 7 - she just flopped out! Am hoping I wont even notice this one LOL

JillD .. having had everything from 3lb10 to 7lb 8.. I know what I prefer... lol As for children seenig you cry.. they need to know you are human and you have feelings too.. how else can they learn the skill sthey need? I'm sur eyou would rather they display their emotions than lock them away from those who love them. Give them each a hug, they are very perceptive.. and did they mean YOUR daddy or just 'Daddy' (Ie theirs?) ??? You are obviously doing a fabby job with them if they are so in tune with your thoughts!! ok so you can't hide a thing from them, they know before we do what we are thinking I'm sure of it!!! Hubby will be back before you know it.. and I bet by Friday he is driving you mad again!! lol... chin up sweetpea.. baby will be here really soon and hubby before.. you're doing fantastic.. I didn't get dressed for the last few weeks before my lot arrived..

Lil_me.. about blooming time girl.. where you been?

    Back later.. need to pee!!!!

Oooh, am I really first up?

JillD - sorry to hear your plans have been scuppered for today. I know what those hormones are like! Try to get plenty of rest and maybe catch up a bit over the weekend when Hubby is around to look after sprogs for you - even better, let him do it.

Doing something fun with the kids today to make it up to them sounds a great idea. I went to 'The Works' yesterday and bought a couple of cheap plastic masks with elastic attached, which I am planning to decorate withthe sprogs later today. You could make you own masks out of cereal packets or paper plates to save money/effort of going to shop to buy them.

Plans today are to get some work done, phone LEA about school catchment area, possibly view house this afternoon, letters to Lloyds and Barclays, tidy office.

    Have a good day everyone.

    Morning everyone!

Hugs to JillD and thanks to lil_me for putting the tasks up again. I knew that it was going to be the bedroom, but I look forward to seeing what the extra missions are going to be.

Can't believe I'm one of the first up today either - was saying to OH that about 20 posts have normally been written by the time I get on usually. lol

Well I'm pleased to say that my enthusiasm has carried over to another day, and I'm raring to go - as soon as I can stop sneezing. Think all of this cleaning has raised some dust, as I haven't stopped.

Right, off to get brekkie, wash my hair, and paste the tasks into powerpoint so that I can view it without being distracted by reading this thread, as I have limited time this morning to get everything done, as have to leave the house by 12.15 to pick up sis for her interview.

Take care everyone, and will try and check in soon.

  • Morning everyone.

Bed stripped and airing and a wash on.

Our bedroom was decluttered when we decorated a couple of years ago and I've been very good and more or less kept it that way so normally it's the quickest room of the week for me.

Windy and overcast here this is morning. We've got an activity at the library again this afternoon and I'm going to try spellings with him again later  , but really need to get DS out and active this morning. I think we'll wrap up and go to the park. He can cycle and I'll stroll.

    Have a good day.
...it is not of more importance than daily life, which I have an enduring wish to make as useful and beautiful as possible.
