Morning
Its not raining here yet but it will do and OH is not too pleased that I wanted the car today. He is doing overtime at a station 16 miles away so has had to get his precious Goldwing out (its usually only a dry bike!). Well he wanted to get rid of my car to get it, so now he'll have to put up with it, and him getting wet. :rotfl:
Chillies still in bed but need to get them up soon. Want to get out of house early for the shopping trip. Oh dear the thought of it, an hours journey and a 15yr old and 8 yr old who will probably bicker all the way there. Oh to be able to turn the clock back to when they were little and amused by the wheels on the bus tapes in the car.
Well i'm all breakfasted and 2 mugs of tea so better go shower and wake kids.
Hope you all have a good day.
See you later

Hi all, rather miserable weather here in Norfolk today, drizzly and windy. I am going to Norwich to buy school shoes  as DD's feet seem to have doubled in size in two weeks (alright, slight exaggeration..). I hate "real" shopping, I am alright with internet shopping, but have to get her feet measured properly I think. I am taking my lovely MIL to help.

Witchypoo if you don't want to use chemicals on the mildew try eucalyptus oil, it's strong stuff so wear gloves but does go a long way and helps with mildew. If you paint over it I managed to get a stuff called 'stain blocker' which you spray or paint on then paint over, stops it showing through or coming back through. B&Q sell it.

Goood Morning happy flyers
On my own again (sob) lovely, smart looking DDs back to school today. It was hard to see my baby start secondary school but I know she will be fine.
Full of good intentions:
Breakfast dishes already washed (made myself do it before switching on the pc)
Living room (all levels) It needs a good cleaning out
Make soup (vegetable I think with pearl barley)
checking to see if I can find recovery disk for computer (don't think I have one)
collect washing/ maybe do some ironing (can't stand it)
air rooms/make beds
S & S bathroom
Enough for just now, if I make a too big a list, I get downhearted and won't do anything.
Bye for now from a little bit sad mummy who has handed her kids over to the Education Department yet again......... FREEDOM!!!!!

morning
Dull and damp here as well. Going to print off the list for DD and I to work through. She asked what the 'cleaning website' was telling us to doso we'll try and make it a game and see how far we get. Need to add ironing to the list as well the mole hill has become a proper hill and is in danger of turning into a mountain.

Morning all :hello:
I won't be doing too much flying this week - I have tonsilitisAfter 4 distrurbed nights sleep (2 due to OH & DD being away, 2 so far due to not being able to breath because of my sore throat), a big row with OH on Sunday night (first one in 8 years  ), and not really being able to eat for most of yesterday I'm feeling awful. Fortunately OH got me some soup yesterday and then went out again this morning before work to Mr Ts and got me more soup, ice-cream & paracetamol so I'm set for the next 2 days
On antibiotics as well but the doctor pescribed capsules so they're not exactly easy to swallow
So far today I've got DD ready to go to work with OH (she's really excited as she's never been before and he's promised to take her to McDonalds for her lunch), sorted through the washing on the maiden (mainly as I need clean PJ's) and had chicken soup for breakfast :rotfl: Now I'm going to do a batch of dishes as my mug needs washing, then I'm going for a sleep then a bath, and I might even consider getting dressed into tracky bottoms & a t-shirt as I feel lousey being in my PJs all the time
Maybe Peter Kay DVDs will call to me later, but I'll see how I feel. Laters
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Hi, Flyladies :j Dreadful day yesterday - saw doctor, nurse, hospital, with DD. She was really poorly, and I was came very close to fainting at one point (no lunch and a hectic, stressful day). DD is now much better, but still can't speak or eat. Didn't get everything done that I planned, but this is what I did do, and what I've done this morning:
Recycling – put out
Dustin – put out
Cupboard – cleaned and bleached
Children’s bed linen – washed and dried
DS’s curtains – washed – to iron and re-hang
Menu plan – written
Chilli, plum crumble – made
Upstairs loo to clean, today, and check school stuff for the children and make a list of what needs buying.
See you later, Penny. x:rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0
