Can They Cancel My Insurance?

They will say make a formal complaint to the insurer and then if you dont come to an amicable agreement then go further.
Just make sure the vehicle is off the road and SORN'd, you must have continuous tax and insurance otherwise it must be SORN'd.
Or insure it elsewhere, But you will have to mention this cancellation which will put some off right away.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
The vehicle is taxed. I taxed it as soon as the confirmation emails came through. Which is why I find it unlikely the policy wasn't in force like they are saying because I couldn't have taxed it otherwise. It's also parked in my drive.0

Can anyone explain to me why a Sports Coach, full time, part time or currently not coaching, can't get insurance?
Thanks.0 -

My thoughts exactly.
They are actually contradicting themselves because they offered a quote earlier the same day when my brother called and he told them I was a sports coach (although I'm not currently employed as a sports coach).0 -

Insurers do not like covering professional athletes or people associated with them, it's for the same reasons they do not like people in the entertainment industry. Which is because they assume the worse scenario which is you have an accident with Usain Bolt as a passenger and he sues you for loss of earnings for the rest of his career which could run into tens of millions.
It also used to include an aspect of moral hazard and the heavy drinking culture0 -
Have you received all of your money back?0

But they could be a Sports Coach in a school, college or university. It's just another name for a PE or games teacher!?0
