    Hey all,

Was at a conference yesterday and it appears that the plans afoot for housing in Nippy Nicola's new Scotland involve the following:
    (i) rent control; and
(ii) removal of "no fault" evictions.
The new Housing Bill will come out in the Autumn.

    So there we have it.
    Get out now.
    Happy to Help.
    :T

And why are either of these things so bad as to run away?

    Quit then.

The market could do with the liquidity.

I don't see why stopping landlords from pushing rents up too high and not being able to throw peole out for no good reason can be seen as anything but good for everyone
