    Hi

With this offer do I need to keep the direct debits active exec after they've paid out the £100 or can I cancel them as it states to earn the interest I need to deposit a minimum of £500 and go paperless whilst to get the £100 credit I need to register 3 direct debits (gonna go for PayPal, charity and magazine subscription)

There's nothing about clawback of the £100 in the T&Cs, so you can cancel them.

Another one 'not on the list' even though I followed the sign up process carefully. Wish me luck!

I applied online on 22nd of July and was accepted. I received my Debit card & PIN code, internet banking activation code and T&C to my email address. But there is another letter dated 23rd of July stating that my identity cannot be verified electronically and I need to go to a TSB branch with the necessary documents.

The problem is I am currently abroad and if I didn't go there in 14 days from the account opening they will close my account. Any idea what to do?

    Thanks in advance

    1. Come home on the next available flight
    2. Send someone armed with the "necessary documents" who can impersonate you (obviously not photo ID!)
    3. Contact TSB and see what they can do

    I'd go for 3 myself. ;)

I've just done this today and made the switch of my old account. I've also put a little in there to cover the DDs but won't be able to access it until they send the internet banking stuff in the post.

But my main question is: Do I need to set up the 3 DD's now or after the switch date as it appears to imply?

Similar for me, rang on Saturday, (32 days after switch), asked to callback on Monday,(today), as the data base was only available to a manager and they don't work weekends.

Called today and was told yes I had made the criteria, no reason why not yet paid and told it will be in my account within the next 48 hours.
... and was it? I had the same promise, and it still isn't there.

Not yet and am now at 37 days after switch completion and 72 hours afters I was told it would be credited within 48 hours.

I have just called TSB and am told it will be processed today and be showing in my account by 1100 tomorrow, (Friday), one can only wait and see!

Yep, I'm now at 36 days. I just phoned again, too, and was told it had been processed and would be there 'soon'.
