Hiya
Glad to hear all is going well at your new job. Tonight should be a good chance to get to know your colleagues better just don't get drunk! lol
I've had the same issues with Mr L & have been using our local store instead lately as still boycotting Mr S (been 6 weeks now!) so maybe I'll try Mr M. The only issue is I think the nearest one is the other side of the city & is in a busy area but if it saves me money then it's worth a try!
Have a great weekend honxx

Well, I did end up a bit drunk (not difficult when I rarely drink) but it was all fine. Spent a bit more than intended (including taxi home!) but could have been a lot worse. The firm paid for the meal and a LOT of drinks.
Debt balances update (3 month anniversary of loan):
Loan balance: -£18,730.26
Mortgage balance: -£89,970
I'm still waiting for a £40 pay out from Onep*ll so that will come off the loan when it arrives. We are due a CSA payment so I will skim about £7 off that for the loan.
I have updated job details with HMRC so will probably find out this week what the new tax credit rate will be.
I'm feeling a bit flat today but I'm thinking it's probably day two of the two-day hangover. Off to parents' for tea and as a treat we are going to Luca's for ice cream afterwards. Really looking forward to thatMortgage at 12/07/2022 = £175,000
Mortgage today = £161,690.76

It is definitely the best ice cream! I looked forward to it all day and it didn't disappoint
(my smileys are not working so I'm using the keys. Hope this works).
In two days I have managed to pay another £10.11 off the loan! (don't know how to do the jumping man using the keys)
Work is tough. I have slight doubts that I have made a mistake. Going to keep plodding though. That's all I can do.
