Will probably pay these into mortgage account, not just now though, will wait and see. Got a reply from one of the other companies stating they no longer deal with the company i have shares in, so will investigate further.
Got a call from my utilities supplier - weird - stating that my account was estimated and that i might not owe as much as the bill they sent me, I told them someone was here to read both meters and that bills should not be estimated, going to call me back tomorrow and asked if i would read the meters again before then. Lets hope they have made a mistake as this is one of the l a r g e bills i was talking about, and it is l a r g e.:(
On another downer moment the parcel that went missing still hasn't turned up so a refund was made, no other option.:(
Trying hard to think of some good news to put here, but i'm still trying ..... there must be something ..... Oh, yes, just remembered got another few pounds:D on the survey front, and a bottle of "something" to try for the next 3 weeks and then let them know how i found it. So thats one item off my shopping list for this month.:DAlways have 00.00 at the end of your mortgage and one day it will all be 0's :dance:MF[STRIKE] March 2030[/STRIKE] Yes that does say 2030  Mortgage Free 21.12.18 _party_Now a Part Timer from 27.10.190 -

HI AFK
Just had a proper read through your whole diary - you're doing really well - and caught up on your week.
Sorry to hear about the parcel going missing - how frustrating! Hope H3rmes serves you better - I've liked it so far and might even start adding on the 30p odd to postage to try them picking up from me.
I also started the PC thing through the postcode lottery signup - I've done a few surveys but not been sent anything to try. Do you get any extra points for doing this?
Hope you sorted out the utilities - maybe they had underestimated and owe you money?
ps - not sure if your query on crossing out was ever answered … apologies if so and I missed it. If not, when you are posting if you click the 'go advanced' button on the bottom right, you get a few different options above the post, including strikethrough … Hope that helpsFleabay + Weebuy + Gumfree since started diary 94 items sold, £649.71 clear profit0 -
Hi Hollyboll
Thanks for sticking with it through my diary, I tend to read random diaries and random pages but will get round to reading them properly.
As for the parcel - just one of those things - had a feeling about that one though.
I really don't know if you get extra points for trying out items they send you - i suppose its a freebie in a way
Utilities did phone me back as they said they would, so gave them the readings, she then proceeded to create a new bill - guess what - I now owe them even more:eek: as its a more up to date bill.
Thanks for the strike through - glad you picked up on it, will experiment later.
So here's my done/to do list for this weekend:o:)
Tried to keep away from the diaries yesterday as had a lot of work/housework to catch up on:o
So parcels posted,
@ldi shopping done,
changed bed,
2 washings done, another waiting to go on, but have ran out of radiators to hang it all on:o
should use my dryer(the one with the light:D) but will wait until really cold weather
Good tidy up - everything now in junk room:eek: oops I mean spare room - will tackle that room later
paperwork all gathered up - now covering the top of the sideboard and my recliner chair - tempted to switch it on (massage chair) just to see if it will sort it into some kind of order for me:rotfl:
then Lidls shopping done
went for pub grub with family
got back and tackled the kitchen - clear up
Oh, won the euro lottery - all £12:D
and still to check last nights which was a freebie for 2 numbers the week before:D
the bay of e have given me another 100 free listings, so relisted a few that didn't sell before:)
so today
bins need emptied
ironing
hoovering and dusting
paperwork to sort
close door on junk, oh sorry spare room,
venture into loft - bought 2 large xmas bags(Santa & Snowman), so everything xmassie deco wise is going in them, anything that doesn't fit is going .. bay of e or CS:) and will probably find a few (just 1 or 2) items for the bay as well:rotfl:
will try and make some soup and dust off slow cooker - not been used in a while
Sounds like a storm brewing here so glad to be indoors, all nice and cosy, now need to get on, where will I start.Always have 00.00 at the end of your mortgage and one day it will all be 0's :dance:MF[STRIKE] March 2030[/STRIKE] Yes that does say 2030  Mortgage Free 21.12.18 _party_Now a Part Timer from 27.10.190 -
Morning,
and what a morning it is, the rain is so heavy, its like a river running on the road up to 10 mins ago but seems to have calmed down a little for now.
Had a Nsd yesterday, so need to up my game and start keeping track of this and other receipts/spends/bills. I have a lovely wee notebook so now it will be like my best friend. Its going to be tight for this month, but i'm sure i'll manage, just have to do a bit of reading for all the helpful tips to see me through.
Lovely evening yesterday watching last episode of my fav programme, and there's a programme on tonight about my workplace. Will watch with interest.
Still a load of the list yesterday to be done so will make a start with the paperwork, brought down a concertina file box thingy from loft, along with some items for the bay, so paperwork will be all neat and tidy, and some more space if i list the items.Always have 00.00 at the end of your mortgage and one day it will all be 0's :dance:MF[STRIKE] March 2030[/STRIKE] Yes that does say 2030  Mortgage Free 21.12.18 _party_Now a Part Timer from 27.10.190 -
Hello
been busy with all the odd jobs to do, so only have spare room2 to clear up. Will get round to that sometime soon.
Paid the other l a r g e bill:( I spoke of today, thus reducing my balance substantially. Always painful paying out large sums but as they say .. once its gone,,, its gone.
The bays ticking over nicely, would love to be at a stage of running out of "stuff", which reminds me to order some more mailing envelopes.:)
Got a letter in from the 3rd co I have shares in, the good news is I have some money waiting for me:j,
the bad news .... they want £80 admin fee:mad: paid up front, they charge £20.00:shocked: for each cheque, anybody any ideas on how to reduce this admin fee, or am i :wall:
how about I get them to pay into my bank account, that way they don't need to send me cheques,:rotfl: or
just get them to total it all up and send one cheque, they might still charge me £80.00 for adding it all up, :rotfl:
Anybody came across this, or know of any way avoiding excessive admin fees.
I've seen and heard it all now, £80.00 = 1 envelope, 1 stamp, 1 person putting said cheques into envelope.
Just like the companies that charge you to pay your bills.
Over to you Martin,:money:Always have 00.00 at the end of your mortgage and one day it will all be 0's :dance:MF[STRIKE] March 2030[/STRIKE] Yes that does say 2030  Mortgage Free 21.12.18 _party_Now a Part Timer from 27.10.190 -
