To meet this date, have to up my o/p's by £50 a month, taking me to £300 o/p a month.
I'm sure over time, o/p figures and dates will change, but ultimate goal is 29.2.2020.

:T great plan and leaping dates FK - very impressed!

I did a fleabay binge at the weekend and yesterday did my first batch of sending with H3rmes, which someone here recommended. It's actually really impressive, does a lot of the faffing for you and I think a bit cheaper than RM (plus trackable).

    Thanks.
Oh, i would love to do a bay binge, too many decisions though, what?/what start price or do i do a BIN price?
how long for? would someone what this? the list goes on, but always curious to find out what others manage to find to list? I really do have so much stuff(lovely items) new in boxes, with labels etc etc, and with xmas coming would love to get rid of it all. Have more space (more ???) and of course, the extra ££ to o/p.

As the greatest procrastinator of all time, I can warmly recommend just start with something. Personally, I piled up loads of carp and then it got too big a job so I kept on putting it off. And it was a massive pain to do it. But even as I sit here something has just sold which I'd have otherwise simply binned.

I'd just take a couple of things and do a search on the fleabay ticking 'completed' or 'sold' on the left hand side ... I was amazed at what prices there were.

You can list 20 things free each month, and schedule 20 free each month. Someone (I think maybe MWC?) recommended listing on a Thursday evening for 10 day auction cos then you get 2 weekends. So I've followed this and if things don't sell I either relist same or bung them onto a buy it now for the minimum I think is worth not giving them to the charity shop.

But the biggest thing I'd say is just get going - I let it become such a big frog/ toad / elephant and it really didn't need to be. Once you start it's not so bad if you do it in little bits ... and it actually gets quite encouraging watching bits of cash come in.

    So ... it's Thursday ... d'you fancy listing 3 things this evening?

Thanks, I think you hit it on the head there, I have a lot, and i mean a lot of
interesting "things" ......you call it carp, so it does put you off somewhat. I did list 6 things in the past week all BIN prices - too impatient to wait for 10 days !!! and 3 sold within a day and the next 3 sold the following day. But need things to move faster.... I will list the 3 items tonight, bought batteries today for my camera, o have to do it the old fashioned way as its the only way i know, and takes 10 times as long.

Stick to your 10 years, as you have only just begun your journey.

When I went in for my second deal, that's when you can decide what you can afford a month and then work out how many years that will take you to. I had a rough idea when i went in, and got the 2 option scenarios 9 yrs at this, and 8 years at that, kept in mind that when i took out mortage, had the same option, 18 years at this, 14 years at that. I took the "this" as like you, had so much to do and furnish and didn't know how savings and bills would go, so opted for the "safe" option. Was I sorry - yes:(, but you learn, which made me push myself for the lower no of years for the second deal. Am I glad - yes:D:D:D.

When it comes your time to re-mortgage, you will remember this:idea:, won't you ???
