Washings done and another lot just finished. Shed also half heartedly done, and just seeping in so another coat on the list.

Time to bring in the 2 loads already dry and the other out, which means beds need made now.

Watched a bit of romance (wedding) and best laid plans - have just been asked if I want to go to Spain next weekend :D not sure if it will materialise though - watch this space.

Not as hot as predicted yesterday and today showers expected. Have a large ironing to do now, and some batch cooking then onto ebay listing as nothing listed yesterday.

Then must have a look at finances to see if any overpayments can be made (avoiding looking atm) bearing in mid still just less than 2 weeks to payday. It's a long month somehow.

Still plenty in freezer and cupboards to last a good few weeks, so no food buying required.

Feel shattered but need to get on . . .

Sorry weather is not so good with you. Hope saint happens next weekend. Where abouts are you hoping to go?

Hope work gets done. I'm not doing work today as weather is glorious here so have a lovely day out planned.

    Hope ironing gets done

A day out - hope you have a nice time, Bexster.

Weather holding out for now - just put on another washing (where does it all come from) in the hope it stays dry, and batch cooking well under way.

Only if can get flights and time off - so I would say 20% happening atm. Looking at Murcia area then move on for a few days. To be honest need to get things sorted here then can focus on a break.

Can't remember if I said but shed, front & front side fence and gate all painted - fast running out of paint and energy. Just back (side) :D fence needing done now.

A few people have asked how I or . . . do I, ever relax  which has got me thinking, if others notice, then it may be time to change, but :o 1st I need to get everything done :o

I can't seem to relax unless I'm sitting with no jobs to do. They even joke that when I'm ill I get up and do the housework then back to bed :rotfl:

    Ok tea break over, next . . . .

    Hello AFK

Had a lovely day. Did I tell you, I've started flying lessons? Part of my day out involved flying over the city in a biplane!

I think if people notice it, you should consider the Italian way of dolce far niente ( roughly translated - pleasant idleness). What do you like to do for fun? What gave you been putting off doing because you don't " have time"? Decide to do one before the end of May.

If I waited to do what I wanted until all the jobs were done I'd never do what I wanted to do. The list doesn't end!

    Enjoy the sunshine

    Hello Bexster

Get you :D The sky's the limit for you :j :rotfl: No, you didn't mention you were taking flying lessons, not envious though, hate heights, can't even go up a ladder :rotfl:except one that's attached.

Looks like Spain is Off. Just a dream, needing some time off and the usual, can't get it, amongst other things.

Side line is taking up a lot (most) of my spare time, so hopefully that saying is correct, "You reap what you sow" :)

Not had "fun" for ages :( and it's only "housey" jobs I put off.

Still have made a good start, moved furniture, general tidy up and have plans to make new curtains (have the fabric) and move my pictures on the wall to - "somewhere" and have a "saying" to put up in their place.

Then get out my collection that's been in boxes since I moved :o and ebay the duplicates (of which I have many, many). Then all that's left will be the fireplace and wall above it to change/decorate - mulling over what I can do with it atm.

I never give myself a rest. Financial news to follow . . . planning time for that at the weekend.

Being busy is obviously your thing, and resting would probably only make you stressed!

This has happened on occasion :rotfl: when I have nothing to do/worry about, I start worrying about that too :o

One week to payday. Never known there to be such a long month
