  • Up late (for me) this morning, slept till 9am must have needed the sleep, after all the "going ons" after the past few weeks.

Started some batch cooking, and got carried away, not enough dishes to put in freezer and loads left, so have had to improvise and use freezer bags, not ideal but better than all going to waste.

Also woke to find another 3 items on the b@y sold, must get some more listed today if possible.

Other jobs for today are ironing, kitchen tidy and bought huge thick front door mat, trouble is door won't open when down, so that needs fixing. Looks like a busy day for me.

    .

If it isn't too late, transfer the stuff already frozen into freezer bags that way they keep the nice square shape of the freezer containers. Sometimes I line the containers with bags and freeze that so it is quick to remove the container and reuse :)
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

  • Thanks Watty1 excellent idea.

Trouble was, not much left in freezer, just made more than normal to fill the dishes I had empty.

On a sad note, all that came to abrupt end when my brother who had only arrived back from abroad last night, told me his beautiful faithful and loyal dog passed away this morning. Done nothing since.

  • Morning All,

In the middle of 10 days a/l. Having a much needed rest, taking life in the slow lane for a change is lovely.
Have done much needed sorting and feeling the benefit of it all, will take time though.

A small side line seems to have evolved without me planning it, will see how things progress. The ebaying plodding along nicely with 7 parcels posted yesterday. Slightly ahead of the 1 a day sold :)
