    Hi AFK

great to hear about op from eBay sales. Are we counting NSDs again this year? I'm doing ok with 9. Payday is still about 12 days away for me :o

    Have a great day

    Bexster :)
  • Hi Bexster

NSD's will be counted this year as well. Last Year's not so good, mainly because of the month called December :rotfl: but done well up to then. Total of 180 for 2016, so not as organised as you with your fantastic total of 210.:A

Getting ready for PO this morning as have 6 parcels to post, couldn't believe it really, so some good out of all that time on my chromebook :heart2: listing away.

Need some household items and food today, so will be out and about, but loathe to move as I have just heard someone scraping their car so its been frosty overnight. So shopping, then hopefully some MK'ding. I'm determined to get things "organised":)

Need to decide if I'm going to make another o/p by tomorrow night, then by next weekend will be paid again, when my o/t will go straight o o/p.

Well done with the eb@y sales. :j
I need to get on it with getting rid of my 'treasures' too. Lol
I am starting to grow my business though. I need to get it out of hobby figures and into proper sustainable earning figures-taxman doesn't care either way as long as he gets his cut, but I would like to make it a full time thing. So I shall be investing more in the business this year. :)
I'm having a weekend of just me and my mr tc. Going to spend some us time away from home. :)

  • Spent "load's" yesterday, and now feel a little guilty, but should all be worth it - fingers crossed. Managed to get a few items in the b00ts sale, which will do nicely for future pressies, just need to find a box big enough to store them all, now.

Taking a break from listing, so just o/p another £200, that has just made up for the spending yesterday and may do a "little" before the day's out.

    Back to Busy, Busy, Busy listing . . . . . . .

  • Morning all, and a frosty one at that.

Although not posting, have been catching odd posts in other's diaries.

Worked o/t 2 nights last week so more for o/p at end of Feb, plus pay for working xmas - blip in the system meant it didn't go through

Food bought yesterday for batch cooking, as stocks running low, £33 spent.

Washing machine on and next on the list is re-listing items, batch cooking, Ironing, then some new listings, then need to visit my friend who has just lost her dad.
So far this month have managed to sell 44 items :j hope next month is as good.
    Have a lovely Sunday

  • Evening all, mortgage payment now showing up on statement, so another o/p of £166.49 made to bring sub account 1 to £22,000.00. Getting there, getting there.

Still pondering over switching bank account for some £££ but maybe not as also considering new mortgage deal. To gamble or not, new deal now which would actually be a higher interest rate or wait in the hope they do not go up too much when the time comes (Oct 2017).

  • Mines due for renewal in July, aiming to fix a deal in the next 2 months or so. I switched to Fd last year. FD has 2 year fix 1.64% on 60% LTV. Not sure about 5 yrs (2.19) versus 2 years , unlimited Ops too. My lack of confidence was swayed by a senior colleagues confidence that rates won't rise too sharply. Ive no evidence to that of course. :o it'll be bye bye halif@x

I hate sub accounts - I need to find a way to consolidate the two parts, otherwise every time I get a new deal on one part, I have to pay a fee, small part is up this year, big part next year, so 2018 might be consolidation time.

    Hi MFD
I am with the Halif@x too, but do think I can get a better deal elsewhere, downside is I pay a penalty or wait until term is up. Will weigh up one with the other shortly. Also aiming for MF in 3 so want a deal for 2 years.

I have main mortgage and 2 sub accounts, 1 interest free, so could get rid anytime, but why, when it is interest free, the other adds interest, but only this year found out only allowed to pay 10% o/p on that as well.

That's something to watch out for, 10% allowance (on my mortgage) means 10% on the sub accounts that add interest, NOT on the sub account, with no interest, I'm allowed to pay that off anytime I like, so I have been told.

LIL - Good to see you back, where on earth have you been :naughty: ?????? Just about given up on you. And here comes the 20 questions; how are you?, doing nicely with the mortgage, I see. Work ok? and hows that garden of yours getting on? Need an update.
Don't feel I've come a long way somehow, I just keep plodding on. My 2 sub accounts total is now under the £500, so its coming down, gradually.

2017 plans are to o/p, first and foremost. Get house organised (meaning letting go of my c@rp, oh I mean treasures, am into eb@ying and sold over 50 items last month, with 2 sold this month, so far :D

Haven't been posting much as December is December - enough said. Then NY - enough said. January - what can I say, my good friends dad was ill, and am just literally back from his funeral. And my brothers beautiful dog - well just waiting to hear, and to make it worse, he's on holiday abroad and not due back until tomorrow night. Hope he makes it back before anything happens. So a bit of a sad time for me.

So really nice to see the replies in my diary when I got back tonight, which has cheered me up no end :)

    Thanks Guys:A
