  • Thanks for this. Not to worry about management. It has been a long running saga in which they dislike me and I don't care less! Nothing to do with my work, I just don't " fit in" with who many of them are ( I must say thank God! Is my view). I'm not sorry, if it hadn't been such a nightmare, I wouldn't have worked so hard to be MF:D

I too saw the S123 thing, bit annoying as I only switched to them recently. Still, if I get another couple of DD going out of there I will make up the difference.
Great news about getting rid of tickets, shame you had to tho!

Sorry, can't answer your techie questions, bet someone else can tho!

    Bexster :)

    Bexster :)
  • Piggy was fat but very light - another £47.00 - maybe keep this for myself to get these lamps I keep going on about - promise will not mention them again, until bought. If not, a new purse is on the list, or /don't know if I can wait till xmas to get my special perfume as have ran out totally of all my perfumes - been using them all up.

Although did buy the one they say is the exact same as Ch@nnel from L1dls for £1.99 at the weekend as was on special.

    icons still not working.

  • Mobile vodafone internet - around £15.00/month incl vat and works discount for 3g. Must be better out there. Mission for today is to find cheaper with more data allowance - even unlimited, but would still like it to be mobile.

Have heard about these cashback sites but never used them, so need to find out about them as well.

This all started when my mum went to PO and was given a leaflet about line rental for her home phone seems they are cheapest.

Just got MSE's weekly e-mail and applied for Sky code :D- seems the deal for me and my mum - i'm putting her monies to right as well slowly but surely.:)

moved some cash to main account, in readiness to o/p mortgage, so will be looking at that tomorrow(today).

Hey, my icons are working this time, so strange.:p

  • Talked my mum into getting a laptop due to the fact the sky code gives you broadband and line rental and managed to get application in for the big switch for my mum.Left it too late for myself for the big switch as system crashed a good few hours before deadline.
Still i've got my sky code in ready for tomorrow, just hope my mums works as managed to mess up when opening her e-mail account, so confirmation e-mail never received, but took a note of the code when applying.
    Wish me luck.
Only 1 parcel to go tomorrow, oh and i've made just over £4 in surveys in the last couple of days.

Having quite a few problems technie wise, just hope it all settles down and gets back to normal.

Not having a great time atm, also been told not ready togo back to work yet, so another few weeks off.

    Bexster :)

Thanks, Not work getting me down, just "things" had one of "those" days yesterday. "Things not moving fast enough for me.

Hmm, well for the next year broadband and line rental will now only cost me £25.35, so that's around £240.00 saving:j oh my icons are working today, well that's another :j:j

And by the time I went to PO I had 3 parcels to post, and I now clocked up £5.00 on surveys and went to @aldi on my way back and only spent £5.00 - very good for me:j

Sky won't let my mum keep her BT phone no, so her application is on hold, until final decision is made, although when i spoke to my mum, she didn't seem to mind if her no. got changed (she's had the same number for 47 years:eek:) maybe it would stop all the pesty calls she gets.

Banked the £47.00 change I had, well counting machine made it £46.90 Hmmm, so added another 10p to it.

Since i'm off work, have watched a couple of episodes of "money for nothing" now thats what i.m looking for...
love this kind of programme, as i'm quite crafty. (he...he):rotfl:

Cant think of anything next, so will have to keep a watch at what everyone else is doing, and follow suit.

When I get a few hours going to have a go at reading "matched betting" feels like a challenge/puzzle as to how it works. Like a challenge to work out how it works, but its my way of thinking.:)

  • Evening All

Received confirmation that my code for land line and broadband worked fine and will start on 6th Oct. That will be a saving of £24/month:j, which will be going straight to o/p, and my tiny isa can do without its monthly feed, small as it is - need every penny o/p till New Year.

Got paid today and itching to o/p but mortgage not taken off till next week, so will just have to be patient.:)

Had a think today about my MF target date and thought it would be nice to clear off for my 60th , so lets have a go. Since I took out a new deal from the 1st Sept, I only have 4 pay days till the end of the year and to make as much o/p's as I can (limit 10%), then it starts again 1.1.16 and I will be allowed to make another 10% during that year. Must update my signature once I work out how to score through a word !!! Anybody know?

Going to make a start on the xmas shopping, seen as how the shops are starting to fill up with lots of lovelies, so I will make a list and stick to it, and the next few days will venture up to the loft and see if I need any cards/paper.

Off to do some more calculations now, lets see if its possible

Its the long holiday weekend here, so have a nice one.:)

  • Hi All

Got a nice surprise today as was paid for the concert tickets that I had to sell.:D So that's another £200 plus which I can put to o/payments, and had another trip to PO, with another visit tomorrow, so more ££, coming slowly in dribs and drabs but is truly making a difference.

Had a play with the o/p calculator and still not sure if it will be possible to meet my new goal, but going to try my very best, I know there will be setbacks, just hope not too many expensive ones.

    Have a nice weekend.:)
