I've cracked on today and not much left on listies.


Chicken curry in the slow-cooker.


Cleared three out of five boxes on balcony - it got a bit chilly then.


Just going to declutter a banana and yoghurt - followed by a cup of tea - and then I'll wash the kitchen and bathroom floors


If it's gone I've done it or don't have one

Open windows, loud music and hearty singing is an absolute must for every days activities.. it is good for the lungs!

Pixie was amusing, we went in PO and she said Lolly, pleeeeeaaaaase? .. they are 5p.. I used to bribe the older ones with lollies too.. if they were good while I posted they could have a 5p lolly!!! Bless them, it worked every time! I got DD1 one last time we went in, she didn't think I'd have remembered.

KHs trollop was very late collecting Tiddles today.. and OH just gone to collect Squeak from dance class. and Yes KH is pretty stupid.

Dinner and bed for this lot I think, I had to wake Squeak for school this morning.

Just home from paid stuff.
Nipped round mils, boiler has been fitted and needed paying for. He's done a good job and left everywhere lovely and tidy. Explained all the paperwork to us both and advised me to bring it home to register online for her which I've just done. He's going back tomorrow to service her gas fire. Fencer is back tomorrow to finish last panel he's done a really good job as well.
Nurse has been round and taken bloods and will ring by the end of the week with results. She was as different again today, no hint of anything being wrong. I don't think it's dementia dusty I think she just gets angry because she has cancer, is getting older and life's not fair some days and I seem to be an easy target to lash out at. I've had a word with myself and told me not to take it personally (difficult sometimes so thanks for letting me rant)
Had hair done this morning it looks much better without grey roots;)
Got loads done at work this afternoon and feel like I achieved loads there, tomorrow I'm sewing bunting that the kids have made:T

LW you do NOT bring the thread down so don't even think you shouldn't post if you feel sad because you haven't got a furry friend to keep you company, we might not have wet noses and big adoring eyes but we will keep you company and be here for you while the furry ones are not visiting
Need to ring DD3 now a neighbour has been round with a parcel for her, she found in her cupboard while cleaning:eek: she doesn't know how long it's been there so is blaming her husband or son, but at least she's bought it. Presuming it's something dd got of eBay but don't know if she's reported it unarrived or from how long ago!

Hello,

Struggling today! Been at work and achieved nothing, both littlies are misbehaving something chronic tincw ive got home. Work was really random with boss's girlfriend there crying. Told myself I'd work out and clear up tonight but just not feeing it! Even reading about your flinging pigpen isn't motivating me! I did Hoover and make the sandwiches and wash up before lunch, and put more clothes away. I think I will just bite the bullet, put the archers on my earphones and get on for an hour, when bAbies sleep.

Pigpen, what an absolute waste of space KH is!! To put it politely. LW please post. Natty we're all hear to listen. Hope hospital goes ok willowpop. Sorry if I've forgotten everyone.

Oh my word, these kiddies are driving me me tal, what on earth has MIL been giving them! They are more than hyper!!!!!!!!!

Goodness me, there are a lot of people going through truly testing times here, aren't there? (((Hugs))) for Mrs MP, Natty and Dogless Lamewolf. I'd include you on the list, Pigpen, but I know hugs aren't the order of the day for you, so High Five for you.

Talking out of my bottom here, Mrs MP, but have you considered joining a Carer's Support Group, or contacting your local Hospice to see if there is a Family Support Group you can be part of? I know you don't have any spare time but the situation you're in is a tricky one and it sounds as though you are going to be your MiL's whipping person. I found I coped much, much better with my mother's Parkinson's induced behaviour when I joined the local group.

Chalet internal vital tweaks finished today and we've hacked back some of the overgrown bits in the garden. I'm taking some time out this year to spend over there during the next couple of weeks if I can. The house is pretty straight so I'd like to make the most of it before the summer holiday lets start.

Well it has been another busy but productive day. I am just going to update my list and then do a some course work before heading to bed. Hugs to those that need them.

Mad Monday - Master Bedroom
Sew badges on scout shirt for ds1
Fill in scout camp paperwork for ds1
Sort through the pile of paperwork at the side of the sofa
Find Mr T vouchers that came in the other day
Update progress on the £10 challenge

Tuesday - Living Room/Hall/Stairs
Spend an hour sorting paperwork
Contact company regarding debt (I missed a couple of payments when I was ill with the flu)
Do some weeding in the driveway
Sort out work insurance

Wednesday - Bathrooms
Open the windows and light fresh air in
Do 2 loads of laundry
Do morning calls for client
Get a quick shower
Feed the animals and collect eggs
Phone the ds1's school to check the time for the progression meeting
Take little ones to toddler group
Clean the bath, sinks, toilets and shower
Defrag the PC
Degunge the taps
Sweep and mop the floor
Dust the pc
Polish mirrors
Remove weeds from the border and plant dd's sunflower
Spend an hour on paperwork
Attend interview
Check to see if student finance paperwork is available for after the summer
HHI
Do evening calls for client
Do some course work (2 hours)
Do m.s assignment
Find phone number for mot station, as car is due later this month so need to get it booked in
Build the bird feeder and put some food out
Attend progression meeting for ds1

I might just look into that honeybear, thing is I'm not her carer in any official capacity. She "doesn't need or want one" one of the nurses asked if she had a carer, I said I look after her and do her shopping cleaning etc and go with her for Drs and hospital visits. So mil said see I manage by myself. Nurse just winked at me and smiled and said to mil that's good then.
Veggie lasagne made and eaten, ds2 taken to explorers, Dh has just taken ds1 to an open mic night so they'll both need picking up later.
Giving to do a bit of crochet if I don't fall asleep first.
