Natty OMG sweetie; that's a heck of a lot to cope with. If I could take any of it away for you, you know I would. Hang on in there; strength vibes comin' atcha.
CY same goes for you. And "milking it"?? WHAT??? I wonder how that person would be faring in your situation?mrs-moneypenny wrote: »Nurse has been round and taken bloods and will ring by the end of the week with results. She was as different again today, no hint of anything being wrong. I don't think it's dementia dusty I think she just gets angry because she has cancer, is getting older and life's not fair some days and I seem to be an easy target to lash out at. I've had a word with myself and told me not to take it personally (difficult sometimes so thanks for letting me rant)mrs-moneypenny wrote: »I might just look into that honeybear, thing is I'm not her carer in any official capacity. She "doesn't need or want one" one of the nurses asked if she had a carer, I said I look after her and do her shopping cleaning etc and go with her for Drs and hospital visits. So mil said see I manage by myself. Nurse just winked at me and smiled and said to mil that's good then.
You know, it sounds to me like your MiL is in some ways in denial - the bit about not having a "Carer" for instance. I don't have easy answers (goddess knows, I wish I did!) but this I will say: from the amount of stuff you're doing, you most assuredly are a Carer.I think we need one of our evenings of light booked in for Friday or Thursday.. healing for flyminions, fly-partners, fly-parents, fly-babies and flybeasts..
Believe me folks, I would not have been good company yesterday, hence logging off when I did. I'm afraid I get really sick of staring at the same four walls all day; and when there's no dog here, once Mr LW leaves at 07:15, I don't see another living soul til he returns at 18:45. Ah well, Patch will be here on June 19th for three nights.
Highlight of my day has been unclogging the shredder; it doesn't work properly if more than one sheet is put through at a time, so I put a sticker on the top saying "ONE sheet only through shredder at a time" - but still I found that "someone" had put 2 sheets through together, and had left it clogged up. Hmmmm - I don't think Alfie knew how to use the shredder, and it certainly wasn't me, so that leaves.......If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Ok, have managed an hour and a half of ironing!!! This is unheard of! Feelif rather good about that. Both littlies are tired, despite having a sleep. I wonder if I can get the ironing finished by the end of this week? Met my friend today, she made me feel bad about not exercising, as she had been doing lots. Going to do some tonight. feel free to kick my bum if I don't.
I hope your migraine has improved pigpen. I get them and they're so debilitating. I have to lay in a darkened room until mine ease, not easy with sproglets running around!0 -
Gosh I'm just having a read through, and what a rotten time some of you are having. And here's me fretting that I've no babysitter for the next few weeks...
Think a flylady light / posivibes session would be very appropriate! I'd be up for that.
And CY I can't believe someone actually said that to you. How utterly utterly rude! XBossymoo

Had a really enjoyable day, I've had an empty classroom all to myself with just a sewing machine and a schools worth of flags to keep me company. And I've sewn the whole lot together. It's miles of it (well quite a few yards anyway) I really don't think we have that many corridors in the school. Come home hung washing out, nipped shops and am just about to do salad for tea. And have almost reached the end of my little odd balls of wool, I'm on the last of 16 squares so this will be a smaller blanket, I've got half of the big mauve ball left so I'm edging them all with that later. Need this one done by two weeks time.
Fence is finished at mils and gas fire services and given clean bill of health, had a text off the guy to tell me I need to buy mil a carbon monoxide alarm.
Have washed up and swept through since getting back as well so house isn't looking too shabby.
Pigpen hope the migraine clears soon
Thank you LW for your very wise wordsSPC~12 ot 124

Mr LW was late home today (someone kept throwing last-minute tasks at him every time he tried to leave for home) - anyways he's been fed and is currently doing his WiiFit, so I'm going to have a quick look at the paper, before it's officially classed as history!:DIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0
