    Hi all

Just sticking my head around the door to say hi - I need to make the most of a couple of hours at home and get some jobs done.

Off to give the patio a good sweep while its dry, lots of leaves seem to have got blown into the corner. I need to go and hunt down some cheap bedding plants, might do that tomorrow.

Just seen the forecast for Saturday - its supposed to rain which is not fair after all the nice weather we have had this week!

    Right, off to move myself.

Quick post - as you all know, I tend to Fly first, and come on MSE later, so I thought I'd just send good wishes to Mr Natty for tomorrow, as I'll probably miss the boat if I wait til tomorrow to say it.
Natty try not to worry, honey; I know that's easier said than done. x

My ironing basket is empty again, it took the housemartins/beautiful South, Kate bush and a billy fury cds to complete it all. So that was pretty much the morning gone. Done paid stuff all afternoon so just got in swept all through downstairs. Going to have a cuppa then do the mirrors, windows and dusting that needs doing upstairs then drag the dyson round and do the stairs.
Think it will be salad for tea as it nice weather and easy.

Hugs to all who need them.

    Hello,

Well its the first time in 3 and a half years I have actually been in the house on my own!!! Both littlies were at nursery, so i put the archers on and cleaned and sorted and tidied for 4 hours! In That time I managed to hoover all of the upstairs, hoover the stairs, sort out both littlies wardrobes and shoes. Sorted the downstairs loo, washed and hung up some washing, did yet more ironing, tidied the hallway, watered the front garden, finally put away all of the washing, opened some curtains and windows and let some air in. Feel quite good, upstairs is looking a lot better, I went through the piles of clothes etc and have re piled in charity, ebay etc piles. Getting there slowly, have 2 more mornings next week where I can get some flinging done, I seem to have done quite a bit from yesterdays list :) yaaaay.

  • Hi all,

Why oh why oh why are some people's houses so tidy and lovely and I seem to always be doing cleaning and tidying but the place is awful. Why? What are they doing that I am not? Has anyone here got to the point where you are not embarrassed when you have a visitor?

    Hi all x

thoughts and prayers with everyone tomorrow xxx

Have been washing all day today. All the beds done and the throws and cushion covers. Flung them all on the line and brought them in when I got back from ballet. Managed to get out in the garden for a wee while with my knitting which was lovely.
