Good morning flyfriends x
I've been up for a wee while (no need to take my temperature I went to bed early!) So far I've collected washing from around the house, stuck WM on, made OH a packed lunch, found his sunglasses, made the beds that have been vacated, opened the Windows and I'm now having a cuppa.
Aiming to have the housework done by lunchtime so I can enjoy some sun before work.
8pm-9pm Friday for our healing circle????
We shall shine love and healing to our needy loved ones.. through quiet contemplation, prayers and whatever we believe will work. Candles at the ready! xx
I don't finish till nine so I will be doing mine when I get home x Thinking and praying for everyone today xxxI'm not a muggle...I'm just magically challenged0 -
So far
3x WM , 2x flung on the line and the other will join them
Washed up, S/S Scullery, put throws and cushions back on sofas, carpet freshener sprinkled, breakfast made and now being decluttered.
Once I've Hoovered downstairs I'm quitting for the day the house is looking good :T so I'm going to knit in the sun .:DI'm not a muggle...I'm just magically challenged0 -
Ahhhh 4 fillings being replaced today, am sitting at the dentist
With a splitting headache
Sorry posted this and realised how unthought ful this was of me. When others are going through much worse today, sorry x0 -
Missymoo I hope things go well at the dentist and it doesn't cause you too much pain or discomfort. Also hope the headache clears. Everyone's life's and the trails or joys they face are relative. You can't feel guilty for posting you are in an unhappy place because you need dental work and have a headache that is what you are going thought and so is real to you. We do sympathise that's part of what the fly lady support in this thread is all about. We can offload our various pains gripes and worries. Because someone else's problem or worry is bigger than yours doesn't make yours any less troublesome to you.
Likewise when we are happy we post and share our joy with others I wouldn't not post my and son makes me smile because someone else had posted they'd won a crazy amount on the euro millions and were stupidly happy. It's all degrees of feeling and emotion if that makes any sense what so ever.
Turns out I was only needed for 1 1/4 hours this morning so I'm back home and still haven't had a text or call back from dad or step mum so told DD2 there's no point driving all the way over if they aren't there so will wait till I hear from them.
I sort of did the boys rooms briefly yesterday in that I removed dirty clothes and pots and put clean folded and ironed clothes away, so I'm not doing anything else in their rooms I've told them where the bedding is and asked them to change it and if the floors still clear I will run the dyson through when I do the landing later.
Off to check the washing again it was still damp first thing.SPC~12 ot 124
In a world that has decided that it's going to lose its mind, be more kind my friend, try to Be More Kind0 -
Morning all (just!)
We got back from our second short break late last night, and I didn't wake up until 10.06 this morning  Have breakfasted, started the washing and made several phonecalls - and now I've got a pile of work to finish before tomorrow's AGM.
Healing vibes for CY and Natty and Dave today, also for missymoo, and I'm wondering how willow is?
I will be joining the circle this evening as I sit with my friend: she is being kept comfortable and free of pain, but her life is drawing to an end now. None of us want her to suffer any more. I shall talk to her about happier times, good memories and the beauties of this world such as I've seen this week. South Wales in particular is currently clothed in a shimmer of glorious wildflowers - the lilies of the field that "toil not, neither do they spin." An shared hour of quiet contemplation will be good for us all. Sometimes we forget to just be, rather than always be doing.
Until later, fly well, my friends!0 -
What a lovely post ionafan. And bless you, caring for your friend so.
Ah yes I'm sorry willow, I forgot you in my thoughts, but you're there x
Thanks Mrs MP you are lovely.
Not much flying done yet. Me and the littlies made smoothies this morning and I made lunch. Upstairs is so much nicer now it's tidy, oh I did manage to water the garden though. Going to try and do some more ironing, and maybe tackle the toys! So many can go im sure. Might clean the bathroom while littlies bath later too. Oh haven't even thought about dinner. Mind you, eating with my numb face is nigh on impossible, so is drinking coffee!! Could really do with one!! Love the list natty, love the fun things at the end! Making me laugh.
How's the flinging going pigpen?0 -
