Feel a little bit penny pincher :) my blender isn't working too well, so I ordere another one the other day, and I was quite pleased about it, as it was half the price of other ones. But this morning, I found one in the garage! when I was doing the whole Konmarie thing, I obviously got a bit over excited and thought I'd give it to the charity shop! But I used it this morning and it works just fine, it doesn't make it in the little cups but everything goes in the dishwasher anyway. So have just managed to cancel my @mazon order. Saving £56!!! Happy bunny. Goiing to take the litties fruit shopping tomorrow, they really enjoyed it last weekend. Although we'll Only be buying fruit we need, as opposed to dragon fruit and pomegranates!!! Oh and proud moment. Roo took the weekend bear back and they read out the little note I'd written of things we'd done, and he was just so proud bless him, smiling with blushing happiness, it was worth being late for work to see :)

Best wishes, good outcome, and minimal stress vibes for all enduring horse-piddle or dentist visits.

Mr LW had yet another call from ambulance-chasers asking about us doing personal injury claims following the car crash. I'm getting fed up with it; I'm doing my best to put it behind me, and this just keeps it all fresh in my mind all the time. I'm still scared to get in a car. Obviously I have to, and just get on with it, but I shake the whole time we're travelling.:(

8pm-9pm Friday for our healing circle????

We shall shine love and healing to our needy loved ones.. through quiet contemplation, prayers and whatever we believe will work. Candles at the ready! xx
I'll go and find an appropriate candle right now. Chances are I won't be able to come online at that time, but I will be sending love and healing to all our friends, nonetheless; and I have a selection of Deities to invoke for aid in this.

Why are some school office staff so !!!!y and annoying?! Starting to feel like an idiot every time I go into The office. I lost the invoice, so went in and duly told them, and she said don't worry they'll send out another one, probably with May's as she's just started , which I received yesterday! I get a snotty email just now from the supervisor, informing me that I hadn't paid Roo's invoice?! Grrrrr! Wrote her a snotty one straight back! Explaining how I had spoken to her about it! And to add to my annoyance, the nursery leader took me aside and politely told me that Roo struggles to put his shoes and socks on and that he was getting very frustrated, and I should really be encouraging him?! !!!!!! he's 3! I struggle to put his shoes and socks on!!!!!!! He can put wellies on and he can take his shoes and socks off, but bloody hell, really?!
    Grrr!! Sorry!

    Hi all x

Decided when the last load of washing was finished to wash Mr Mac's bed and put that on the line. Sat in the garden with the radio and my knitting which has been lovely. Just took the washing in and put it past.
Should really be thinking about what we are having for dinner and get it on before work but I CBA so I can see salad on the horizon.

Will check in later when I have done the paid stuff x

    Phew, isn't it hot? Lurvely:)

I've had a rather busy day collecting food and craft stuff for camping. And printing some themed colouring sheets out for when we are stuck indoors with the weather - doh -

Collected DS and mum is coming to get DD after tea, which does help tbh. I've not packed my own stuff, but I sort of know where it all is. I'm going to get uniform washed so I don't have to rush on Sunday - expect we'll be pretty tired.

No idea what they're having for tea... I'll have a fish around in the freezer in a mo - (there's smoked salmon in the fridge for me ;))

Checked work email on blackberry, nothing urgent but one message from boss man saying "calibration went very well for you, looking forward to telling you about it!" (Calibration is is a sort of peer comparison where they set an indicative appraisal rating at mid-year) so that sounds encouraging - especially given some of the twirps I've had to deal with this year, lol.

I need to get DD car seat out for mum and I think I'll put the seats down in the back - heaps of stuff to take tomorrow. I've half a minced cow in my fridge

This calls to mind one of my fridge magnets.... it says:
"Raid fridge at own risk; contents may be under a curse or awaiting reanimation." :rotfl:

I'm still trying to work up the enthusiasm to cook something for dinner; salad not an option, as we haven't got any!:D
We do have choccie mousse already made for dessert.;)

Didn't hang the washing out as it just started raining here as I went out to fetch the dry stuff in.
    All socks have been paired.
Ordered a new carbon monoxide monitor/alarm for us and one for mil. Ours was OOD:o and mil has never had one we'd fitted her a smoke alarm a few years ago and replaced that last year but overlooked the carbon monoxide one till guy servicing the gas fire for her texted me we should get her one. Question, she has a combi boiler in the kitchen and a gas fire in the lounge does she need an alarm in each room, I'm guessing this one should go in the Lounge as he commented she needed one when he did the fire.

Just found enough empty boxes in the kitchen to order a free seed set from Kellogg's for One of DD2s partners children so doing that next so the boxes can go in recycling.
