Natty Sorry you are having such an awful time. Just look after yourself a little though, you are just as important as all these other people around you that you love.

Got to run, need to get ready to take DS to the bus, then another meeting with someone about DSs future education, then paid stuff.

I should not be sitting here in my jim jams with wet hair at 8am!!!!

    Morning all
Thank you for the supporteveryone. Iona, yes crochet, I know it's another blanket I'm giving away but it's giving me pleasure to do and my mind can switch off while I'm doing it. Also it's getting rid of some of the wool mountain I have accumulated.

Natty massive gentle and supporting vibes and hugs coming your way, sorry life is throwing all of this at you at once. I can't offer any advice apart from when fil was ill I turned into a terrier and insisted on being kept in the loop, mil was in denial and didn't want to or couldn't make any decisions so I got the docs to come to me or ring me over stuff. BUT you are ill yourself and have lots of other stuff going on are there any other children who can help share the load so mil doesn't keep letting them send him home then ring you to sort things out. I know totally where you are coming from with that area. I hope the surgery next week goes well for your DH and your both get help and support. I'm so sorry your niece is also finding things difficult I hope she finds support and a happy place to help her come through her troubles. Sorry I can't offer any more than sympathy, hugs and a listening ear.

Mils Fence should be finished today and boiler man is going back to service the gas fire but will ring me if it needs more, so I should be at home doing my flying today apart from going work for my usual hour then an hour helping sew the fete bunting (I offered as I like sewing)

Have as lovely a day as you can all.
I suggest a Virtual coffee/tea break together at some point this morning just so we all get 15 mins off

    Morning all

Natty biggest hugs sweetie. You are coping amazingly well, that is an awful lot of support you are giving to a lot of people you love dearly. Your own health is starting to suffer though and then you won't be able to help as much. Try to have a couple of days taking care of You so that you can help others. Do you remember my old sgnature which said 'If travelling with small children put on your own oxygen mask first'? I love that saying. If you take a moment to take care of your own needs then you are in a better place to attend to others needs. We are all here for you x

Just doing a bit of ironing before getting ready for the paid stuff, as Valli used to say it's Friday for me.

Ok, so all of todays applicable jobs done. While the hoover was out, I quickly went round the rest of the house. Also checked the smoke alarm. 30 minutes now till the paid stuff so I'll walk the dogs and book the car in at the garage on route.

    Catch you all later.

Huge hugs for Natty. Hope venting has helped. I completely understand that Dave is terrified about his operation. I am about mine. My family don't seem to get this atm. I spent a lot of yesterday trying to catch up on the ironing and was duly k*******d last night. One family member told me that I could milk the sympathy after the op not before. Then DS gave me a ton of washing that was out of his room.

Life has been further complicated by the arrival of Aunt Flo for the first time since January.

I am finally admitting to myself how terrified I am. Not easy.

Anyway, less of me. Second washload is nearly done. Coffee with a friend this morning then hospital to give more blood this afternoon. Life is never dull.

Hope everyone has a great day.

Morning, feeling a bit teary as dropped may at nursery for the first tien on my own without OH to hold my hand. Silly I know, as she loves it, she's just so small I feel bad for havig some me time.
Meeting my friend for coffee, she's a sensible sort. She'll sort me out. I hope everyone is feeling a little better this morning. Was lovely to come down to my ticy kitchen and to wake up in a tidy bedroom, so much so there was no shouting at all, as all was organised! Even managed a shower. Although had my hair removal done yesterday and my lip has swollen up, so much so, I look like I have an upper trout pout!!! !!!!!!!! Crazy!

Any way speak later, squishy hugs everyone x

Sorry CY just saw your post! Of course you're allowed to be scared!!! And milking it?! Bloody hell! That's a horrid thing to say. You just keep your chin up lovely.

100% wot she said, CY. (((Hugs))) xxx

We are about to set off to a static caravan (which I don't much like at the best of times) in a seaside place that I'm not desperate to go to, to meet up with DH's cousins (who I like very much) - but I'd really rather have one less stress and stay at home. Too much going on here too atm.

I caught up with washing yesterday and have another basketful this morning, but it will have to wait until Friday.

(((Hugs))) spoons and sticks all round xxx

Sending supporting hugs to you CY, totally agree with what missymoo posted, you are allowed to be scared and worried and everything else and as for 'milking it' I'm annoyed that anyone could even think that let alone said it to you. GRRR vibes at them for being so uncompassionate!
Off to sew bunting now, 'c' you later.
