    Morning All

Hope your first day went well Dusty.

Piggers - hope all the candy is crushed!

Willow - good luck with the hospital.

Swimming tonight but that's about it I think. I'll see what else I manage to get done. I'll load my car this morning if I get chance ready for a CS run on my way home from work.

    Have a good day all

    Hugs

Morning flyladies. Welcome Heidi-Rose. Hugs for Natty, Willow, CY and LW and anyone else I've missed.

Re left over mincemeat, I have a recipe for a fruit cake which uses it, and also like it mixed with apple in a crumble.

This morning I'm going to have a clean up in the hobby room before the paid stuff.

    Have a great day everyone.

Morning everyone - squares shoulders for Nattys offloading. No better place to do it and there will be bucket loads of moral support waiting for you.

Things are a bit rubbish here at the moment and I felt really fed up last night, I think I was tired too which didnt help.

Another rushing about day here with paid stuff, appointments, DSs to collect from cricket, phone calls to make etc etc.

    Will do what I can.

Dailies done, hobby room dusted, bedding changed. 30 minutes before the paid stuff so I'm going to walk the dogs.

    Catch you all later.

Told Dh about mil and her breakdown when he came home for lunch told him exactly what happened about the Dr having to come out etc and her saying not to tell him. BUt I said She needs to know we don't keep secrets so I asked him mention I said she'd got upset so they could talk about it when he went round on his way home from work. Nothing she admitted things got a bit on top of her as she was upset I come to clean and it feels to her like I'm implying she doesn't look after herself. But she as good as told him I overreacted and have made it sound wore than it was, and she's fine. He believes me but said it was strange that she didn't even get upset while talking to him and normally if you open a wound talking about it set you off again (well it does me) so I can't work it out I have to go and clean as otherwise it doesn't get done I try to do it when she's out at cinema as she gets huffy if she's there but then if I ask her outright does she want me to clean she snaps well someone's got to and I can't manage. Bit what really hurts the most and I know it's silly but she's started calling me 'the girl' again. When fil was alive and we used to shop etc for them, she'd say to his dad well pay the girl I don't want to be owing her and things like that. I loved fil he often popped up for a cuppa and I did loads for him when he was ill and managed to get him home for the end which was what he wanted. Then when he had died and I'd gone to the Drs with her she actually said to the dr. It's alright for her she's not family. That really did cut deep. Sorry that's my rant for the day.
Going hairdressers this morning, then got loads of extra work so not about much again. Ds2 has chemistry exam today and explorers tonight - I must sew his badges on. Just going to get done washing hug out before I go as it's lovely and sunny here just a bit blowy which should help.

Lovely sore throat this morning :(

I had a very unrestful night after my mothers visit .. :(

We have no cereal and no milk and about 6 slices of bread this morning.. everyone is fed and out to relevant educational establishments!

Today I have earmarked 2 boxes of junk in my room to sort. I need to get a bunch of stuff chucked on ebeast and my laden pushchair off to the post office to be emptied. I need to pop to wool shop for a ball of purple.

I started a brown jumper for Spam last night but think I might leave it a bit, it is really hard to knit at night so it may have to be my day time project.

I need to whizz Henry about downstairs and source 2 Hetty's for christmas presents for DD1 and DD2. My girls are such geeks!

OH away to shop for bread milk eggs and cereal.. our shopping lists are always so exciting!

Dot is doing really well writing her letters! We have a wipeable book she keeps dipping into at random moments.. but her letters are coming along beautifully, we will have her reading by the time she starts school I'm certain.. I might get a list of words from school and a few reading books.. Her behaviour might improve if her brain is engaged!

Clothes and garden for the 2 of them I think!
