Dusty hope the new job goes well and you enjoy your first day. I'm still finding my flying feet around my extra hours but it's not helped by the fact they are a bit random and usually at quite short notice.
Ds2 now left for school settees all neatened and extension lead plugged in,going to do a HHCx2 on the ironing now.

Thanks for the list Natty and Pigpen for last week's.

I am going to try and make this the week where I actually post and don't just lurk. I have been following the lists and flying and even if I have gone off piste a few times it has given me the motivation which I seriously lacked before. I have my parents coming to stay on Thursday so have to do the whole house before then but it will be so much easier than previous times.

dusty good luck in your new job. hope your first day goes well.

we went to ds2's scout AGM yesterday afternoon. ds2 is coming to the end of scouts (should have left already but he has permission to stay on for the summer camp) and will go to explorers in September. Unfortunately they don't have explorers so he will have to leave the group. They have done so much for him and I felt sad he was leaving so have put my name down to help with beavers with a view to becoming a leader:eek: before I had ds1 I was a brownie guider and really enjoyed it so am looking forward to it. OH has joined the committee so we are both still involved! Hopefully ds2 will join scouts as a young leader too.

    Good morning lovelies x

Dusty good luck with your new job x

I'm awake but absolutely shattered don't think I got much sleep at all.
DD decluttered to school and DS2 and OH decluttered to work. House to myself absolute bliss.
Just about to stick the WM on there is a peculiar shiny thing in a blue sky outside so I may get to peg out today!
So far this morning I have sorted my finances out, tinned money etc. So another job off the list.
Will do a quick tidy up and make the beds see if I can avoid falling back into one then start today's list.

Anyone have any ideas what to do with 6 massive jars of mincemeat that I need to use up apart from mince pies?

Well, so far today I have, helped both littlies make a smoothie, and made one for myself, think I've burnt the motor out on my little blender thing, might have to save up and get a nurti thing. I have written 2 pages on what we did this weekend with the class bear, I have got myself and both littlies dressed, brushed all teeth, rounded up Weekend bears stuff, and walked to nursery and back. I have half unloaded the dishwasher and just made a coffee. Put away all my clothes and May's just the boys in the family to do. Have opened the curtains and windows upstairs to let in the fresh air, found out the loo roll store, and bleached the upstairs lol! Exhausted again! Might be time to get my iron levels checked I think. I shouldnt be this tired after sleeping for 9 hours!!!

Good luck on job today dusty and hope you manage to fit together a routine Mrs MP.
Love the fries with thAt, but not sure my toddlers would understand, as they're pretty much all I'll converse with today!
  • Thanks for last weeks list Piggers and thanks for the new list Natty!

Childrens books in the middle room made neat and tidy.. binned lots of torn ones and an ancient argos book.

Window handles swapped.. bathroom and DD1 room.

Rang HV for a yell, strop and growl..
Paid solicitor.. this is JUST what the child benefit is for!! Gggggrrrrr... I NEEDED that for DS3's prom stuff.
DD1's birthday present sorted last night.. need to sort DD2's, it is her 18th and DD1's 21st next month.. how did they get so old!?!
Laundry gathered from my room and DD2 has put hers in the basket too. DS3 brought his school tops down.. no trousers, pj's or underwear though!

Cuppa time then I have to sort the grotty kitchen I think. fold laundry and sort ebay gubbins and I have a cheque to go in bank..

I might find time to wash my hair and stuff today.. maybe!
