Evening,
Glad to see you back CY, and hope you are coping with the diagnosis, try to think positively, I really believe your mind can help your body to heal. We are all behind you, or surrounding you if that seems nicer.
Flying I have not done. But had a lovely time watching dd2 dancing with all her little friends at a birthday party, then went for a bike ride with dd1, then took dog for a walk. kimberley, I never really plan activities for the weekend, and sometimes it's nice to do nothing, just sit around with the kids, watch a DVD. If the weather's ok they walk the dog with me, or we might go to the park with bikes/scooters. I have found in the past that walking really lifts my mood.0 -

No.. I have 9 children .. AT HOME.. lol.. very careful wording is used at all times.
The black dog (BD) is an @r$e .. we throw them sticks to chase in the hope they go away for a period of time.. like forever.. there are a lot who have a daily fight with theirs...
There is also the worry if you have a list 7 days a week you will never let yourself relax and unwind and will burn out and not do anything which won't benefit your mental or physical health nor will it improve your habitat.. and that is what we aim for.. Take the weekends off, let them be your days.. your list every weekend can be relax, enjoy your children and get the school uniforms washed and ready for Monday! .. will that do?
CY.. You know we are here whenever you want us or need us.. offload whenever you feel the need. Men folk often tend to shut off these things.. but they will come round, give them time. Hugs for all of you xx
My effin' neighbours have another fire burning.. this is the third in 5 days.. I am well miffed.. I am locked in the house so I don't get the hose on them.. the fire is frightening my stray cat.. he is growling and crying... NOT a happy Piggy.. Off to grass on them to my mate Ian at environmental health!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
I'm glad you're home CY and feeling well enough to post. Think positive thoughts at all times, and know it's going to turn out fine. Try not to worry too much about men folk they deal with things differently from us. I think women are better communicators of feelings and emotions. I think some men just bury their heads in the sand long enough to process it all.
Know that we are here for you and are sending positive healing vibes to you xxxI'm not a muggle...I'm just magically challenged0 -

CY so sad to hear your news but glad you are feeling some benefit already. I shall keep everything crossed for a complete recovery for you. We are here when you want to scream, to be distracted or just feel normal. xxThe birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0

Kimberly welcome. You are more than welcome to post any of your own lists here if it will help you or 'copy' any plans/tasks others post. Lots of us are solar powered and feel much better for some time outdoors everyday, even a short walk, sweeping the path, deadheading plants, chatting with a neighbour, wiping the outdoor paintwork, anything to get you out there. Maybe get your kids involved. Have you ever tried geocaching? The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0

Hiya everyone - gosh it was wet and cold (10 degrees) today when we went shopping
CY - glad you're home and feeling a bit better already but sad about your news. I did wonder when you kept having all those problems over the months. I'm sure the men will come round to it in their own ways and sending healing vibes and thoughts.kimberley_kemp wrote: »thank u! oh i dont doubt that i aint the only but like i say its weekends i get stuck with i am actually enjoying the weekly cleaning threads it keeps my mind occupied when the oldest are at school "the black dog" lol i love it x
Maybe look at the local council web-site and see if they are offering any free walks/talks/visits for families. You could organise a visit to the park/picnic/bus trip or even just a walk in the countryside. Indoors you can have a picnic/make cakes/have a art/craft afternoon or watch a DVD.
I used to organise things like this when mine were little to get motivated when I felt a bit under the BD - found it helped to have things actually planned, though not every minute obviously
DH has had his shifts changed again and will be working nights this week starting the morrow. So we are going out for a cheap pub lunch else his 'off' day will vanish and it'll be good to have a couple of hours together.
Hope you all have a super Sunday

Well, Cycling, at least it's not 'common' (ugh!) - a bit of class even when you're unwell - with something 'special'.;)
Seriously - love and light and hugs coming your way. I hope you took that in the lighthearted manner it was meant. I am sorry to hear your news and wish you well.
