Mr T cancelled our grocery delivery 1hour after the time slot. We have rebooked for tomorrow. I'm hoping they don't charge me twice.
Ds2 has been screaming and shrieking most of the day. Good job I love him. An educational psychologist is visiting here on Monday. Hopefully with some advice.
HB your home sounds fabulous. X0 -
This is why my house is such a pit!!! I've made the most of it for 24 years!!
There will still be housework when they are all grown up. Although I suppose in theory you could end up with about a million zillion grandchildren and still have at least one who wants to sit on your knee for a cuddleI'm not a muggle...I'm just magically challenged0 -
Well I was fed up this morning so we dragged DS2 off the Xbox and the 4 of us used DS1s disabled pass to get into a local Stately Home. Had such a nice day, no teenage stropps, the weather was lovely and DS2 even chatted to me about all sorts of things which considering how little he talks to me these days was really something. Must do this more often!
Must catch up on a few jobs tomorrow though.0 -
We do a 5 day list so the house is nice for the weekend so we can spend time with our loved ones and not have to think about the cleaning and stuff. Weekend is family time.. the list is the same every week for the weekend... go spend time with your friends and family!
I have 9 children at home, we play Xbox and watch DVD's and play in the garden and other stuff on a weekend.. we just go with it.. you don't need a list to tell you how to play with your offspring!
And many welcomes xx0 -
Just popping in to say that I am home. It wasn't as bad as I expected (anaesthetic and pain relief have improved since I last went under the knife.)
The news is not good - it is confirmed as Bladder Cancer. He thinks he got most of it, but apparently it is not one of the common ones. I need a CT scan and will be in clinic in 3 weeks.
DDs are coping well. Men were in denial yesterday, but the word appears on the discharge letter, so we are forcing them to face it.
And for the record I was not in the least bit surprised. I knew.
But things are much improved 'down there' for which I am truly thankful.
Thank you so much for all your kind thoughts and healing vibes. I am in no doubt that I have a battle to come, but I know that I am not alone
Thinking of you and Dave too Natty - gather all went okay?:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -
Kimberley - welcome to the thread - you are not the only sufferer of depression here - we tend to use the Churchill phrase of it being the black dog. Do as much as you can and be kind to yourself. Each room comes around again each week, but by doing a bit you start to see a difference...:jFlylady and proud of it:j0

Oh CY I'm sorry, bless you
I'm glAd the op went ok and that things are at least feeling a little better. I'm thinking of you and here if you need a chat X
I've done nothing this evening, I was going to go to bed, but im tired of going to bed super early and sleeping my life away if you get what I mean. So I watched some things on catch up tv and had a couple of glasses of wine and chatted to OH on IMessage, which was nice. But grumpy, 2 of my nail extensions have come off after 10 days, just don't think I can carry them off, am not at all careful with my hands!
Done v little today, aim to do some fun things with smAll ones tomorrow and to steam clean the floor and clean the cooker! Oh and finish my tosco order, you wouldn't think it would be so hard, but desperately trying to eak out the money!
Erm fireworks?! How annoying! Best not wake babies up!!!!!0 -

Sorry to hear that. Glad you are feeling a bit better already, and I hope things continue to improve. We are all here for you and thinking of you. xRemember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -
