Correct. I did that with the Shredded Wheat (were £1.19 in W) - can't believe that four boxes were not enough to last until their October expiry date (:(I did try for November, but couldn't get the rest of my W shopping in the store that had that date as OOS on other items). That's why a price reduction in M - to be still more expensive than even my £2 reject price (wayyy more than 20p/100g I suspect) - did not impress me at all. I've had to stop them halfway through the final box, in the hope of trying to get it to last a little way more to October. (We have a new month, so may be psychologically better tomorrow:rotfl:.) Instead, I've been trying the Bitesize Shredded Wheat to top up (were Avs W, now Avs T) and 'free' pint of milk but :(having trouble finding any promotional boxes of only the 750g Bitesize Shredded Wheat needed (plenty of Win a Cows on other boxes:() and now having trouble using the vouchers to buy the milk as well:(:(.
I went to an A and got refused:( (probably because a small supermarket), in 'protest' I then decided to go to the nearest S for petrol rather than pay A for my fuel so they've lost a few quid unbeknown to them from their coupon refusal earlier (not that they are too bothered about probably £30 or so) (I went not to the nearest S that's always 1p a litre more expensive but the other one that's nearer to the A - but decided not to go the big A to use the coupons as I'm losing in petrol cost anything I 'save' on the milk:() - paid about 30p more at S, in total on the fuel (but would probably have cost me 30p to travel farther, to the A) - then found the S did not take the milk vouchers. Passed a T on the way back - but decided not to buy at 45p as that would be saving the promoters money, went to the nearest S (that's nearer to my home) and found they were 45p there too:( - then found that that store, despite accepting a milk coupon from me the other day, didn't take them either:(. So, I have two milk coupons and couldn't spend them in A:( or anywhere else and could have spent them (I assume) at the T I passed on the way back - but now pointless driving back to as it costs more than the coupon value - as I thought the same S that accepted one last time would accept them.
They are best Avs T (if your A accepts them - my bigger A did last time, but pointless spending petrol travelling back to) or maybe AvsS if S's price is in (didn't look last time I checked the APG). I feel that, on milk, A cannot last too long being at a higher price as it's one of the core items that people generally actually know the prices of, so they may soon put the price down:(. I'm waiting on an APG - do we need to wait 4 hours still? If so, anyway, due for checking this side of 1am so no leap seconds potentially to cause anything to go haywire in the meantime! Not interesting so I won't post the results:rotfl: - not helped by their refusal to take the coupon (but then maybe because they are a small supermarket) it's just a quid or so back:(:( from expensive essentials again. Pointless.
Meanwhile... I might go to M tomorrow in the event. We went out today and enjoyed a sunny day but also I've thought, if it's too hot, sometimes it best not always being outside in it - so I might do a 'quick' M around the two nearer Ms. No promises certainly though.0 -

Is anyone still up that could help please?
I understood that if you find a womble put the barcode in you could then scan the barcode for shopitize?
However, each time I put a barcode in it adds an additional number at the end and doesn't scan
Am I doing it completely wrong? Can someone with more knowhow explain in very simple terms for me please.
I must have missed out on a dozen lettuce this week for starters.
Just tried strawbs from sada again with no luck

Hope I get this right

Just an 'end of day' fortunately. Most of the rest of our day was spent out, away from shops;).
Ridiculous though (IMO) not taking the milk coupons. Even more ridiculous, in my view, is the S (very same 'branch' of them) that took them a few days ago but didn't tonight. I assume the earlier acceptance was done in error though so that explains the apparent 'inconsistency' and therefore isn't as ridiculous as it sounds. (I didn't mention that the store had accepted another one from me before. I didn't feel the will to fight so didn't bother - sometimes I am too meek and it's difficult saying anything or thinking of how to say it, so I just keep quiet!) Indicates that if I find 'the right SA', someone will take them - but just too hard! I'll probably end up trekking out somewhere in the end till I find a place that takes them:rotfl::(.0 -

The images (and some meta data if you look at the html) on tesco website have the BC in the url, open the image in a new tab and pop the numbers into a barcode generator
(last digit is checksum digit which some barcode generators calculate automatically)
I'll have to try and remember how to do that- I have the barcode generator sorted, got that sussed last night- I'm getting better but im not a technophobic0 -
