    I must go to sleep now, Savvy I have enjoyed reading about your wall clock incident and secret house move :)

    Btw, Toblerones still showing 75p on Waitrose website, is this now the everyday low price as the special offer wording has gone :think: :rotfl:

    I don't think Tesco, Sains or Morries match Waities prices so if you need more then it's back to Asda or Waitrose!

    Good night :hello:

    I know - people enjoy reading about these exact time things with me, so that's why I post them (even though nowt to do with money-saving). But then, all the chatter, the same:cool:.

    In reply to the part I've put in bold:
    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    I was wondering about the price, thinking whether it would go way up in price to some price that people generally would pay. An offer of the type "Was 75p - Now £4!" (obviously the Was price is omitted for such 'offers' that we see:rotfl:). Now you see it...
    Wonder how they would promote, as being somehow good, a price of several pounds if they went to that?:rotfl: (Obviously would be a downright 'avoid' for us:rotfl::rotfl:.)

    Good night :hello:

    It was a while back in fact. We just moved from...one fairly good area...to another fairly good area:T. Not planned whether it was near A or not - to be fair, they are all 'fairly near' within the city in which I live - easy enough to get to any of them by car - more what was available and the price we saved on the house. Probably why I've been less enthusiastic about the M list of late (or maybe not:rotfl:) as mainly Avs and yet I'm not taking part in much of it anymore. It doesn't make sense to travel a bit farther to A merely for a few pence off (10%) on many items when I could just travel a lot less and pay straight price at 'the cheapest store'. So, Mr T's has been nearer. S is nearer still but isn't the cheapest store:rotfl:. Actually have quite a few round here and I've never bought the vast majority of items on the M list anyway so that never stopped me:rotfl: - it's the clinical significance, you see:D: obsessive collecting of things including things that you don't actually use yourself:rotfl:. I just collect information. On the basis that all information is of use to someone in some context. Railway timetables - it would have been details on every route, even those I would never use myself - because, in theory, I could do:cool:. I never know when I might have wanted to go somewhere and when that information would suddenly have come into use. I hope that's an insight into the mind!

    Is it a problem? I don't know: probably not, as it's fairly harmless - it provides something of interest and there's a time and place for things like this as long as you get a varied life as well, which I do by going out yesterday. [EDIT: Where I could be good is the split-tickety money-saving stuff, if I got into it again - such a complex and illogical fares system is a complex web of information readily understood to my mind! No-one else would understand the complexity, but I would. Sadly:(, not my interest - and I just haven't the wherewithal to go into it and learn/remember it all. Sticking to Morrisons prices, sadly:rotfl::rotfl:.]

    Goodnight again.:rotfl::wave:

    :eek:I haven't even done my prep. for the Morries list to take to the store! Might not bother:rotfl: - it's a nice day!

    Prep. now done - all it was was to note the 'new items' from last time to track again today (maybe). I seem to have mixed up the M Kids Apples onto Tvs M - I'll sort it out later (if I get to it at all). I wouldn't bother with the Aquafresh 500ml mouthwash vs £1.37 M - there's some other Aquafresh 500ml at £1 in T.

    Bye for now!

    Morning all. Too hot here to sleep OR is it my insomnia?
    Went to T's last night for whoopsies as nearest A's seem to be overtaken by huge ex rugby players who take everything good that ends up being reduced - they leave no room whatsoever for us littler people to get at anything. Hubby would be OK in the scrums if he wasn't on a mobility scooter as he's probably taller with a longer reach.:D:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    T's was very quiet & managed to get a very nice joint of beef that was just under £10 for £1.40 and had a voucher for 60p off beef chunks which scanned against it, much to my surprise so 80p!:T Bought 2 x 1 litre bottles of fresh still lemonade for £1 - enjoyed it until I read the label 30gms+ of sugar in 250ml! OMG that's 6 teaspoons!:mad: Got some chicken breasts stuffed with lemon & herbs - hope it tastes OK but for £1.20 was worth a try. Nowhere near the stash I'd hoped for. Wanted some nectarines but everything was bullet like - T's fruit is expensive and not so good. Those flat nectarines 4 for £1.00 or 3 'normal ones for £1.50!:mad: I'm sure I was getting packs of 8-10 flat ones last year in Morries for £1 or less.

    Anyways what I came on to tell you all about was that I bought one of those 8ft round pools that inflate for the grand price of £20. There was a stack of them reduced to £20 so presumably they are in most T's at that price. I THINK I have a hosepipe to fill it, although whether I'm going to find it in the overfilled garage is another matter? If I can't I think I'll ask our lovely neighbours if I can borrow theirs. (Why does this site tell me neighbours is spelled neighbors?)

    Anyone tell me what they use to keep the water clean? Thinking of buying one of those floating thingys that take chlorine tablets, some say on amazon they contain everything needed but is that correct?

    Didn't get the washer/dryer from Argos at the misprice of £216 - probably a good thing as nowhere near ready for it, but had to be in it to possibly win it. OMG they are still going on & on in HUKD that some are going to try and sue Argos. Silly devils - it was an obvious mis-price!

    Well it is for me anyway. Hello from HOT HOT HOT Texas! First couple of days filming has gone well. Not without hitches that have included a family of pigeons, two broken bulbs and almost having an interviewee pull out :o

    Oh and my trip to A+E the night before we flew :rotfl:

    Barely getting any time to myself so I'm gonna head to bed whilst I can.
