I have a First Direct cheque acount and you can pay cheques in at the Post Office. I think you like the exercise but might be useful if weather bad :)

    Interesting, I didn't realise this.

When you bank a cheque how long is it before it shows in your First Direct current account online?

We have 2 post offices within walking distance - otherwise its a once a week trip into town - cheques are few and far between now
