This thread is moving too fast!!
In sada today behind a couple that were badly sunburnt buying suntan lotion.
The woman complained that the discount wasn't coming off. £7.48 each or 2 for £8, Nivea factor 30.
She went to get the shelf label and was correct. The supervisor said he'd over ride the till ' this time'.
She also had a couple of different brown tubes of suncream that went through at £9 when she thought they should have been cheaper.
She complained they were much cheaper on the shelf and said they must all be priced up wrong.
The supervisor said 'we've had this all day & I'm fed up with it'.
The woman paid the higher price and left. Her bill was over £300, so guessshe didn't really care.
I went back after checkout to get some Nivea but because she's removed shelf label there was no price to argue so didn't buy any.
Might be worth checking out with all the sun we are expecting?

Nothing like shutting the door after the horse has gone. Too late - the damage already done if you've been sunburnt. Stay safe folks. I hope you've already bought your suncream earlier in the year! I think there are probably better times to have bought it, when it was probably a lot cheaper than it is now - but the 'misprice' is interesting. Obviously these folks don't plan in advance but usually buy in an emergency, at the popular time when it's probably too dear.

Yes, you are right. No point applying it after the effect. Bit like putting salt and vinegar on the plate once the chips have been eaten :rotfl:

I have the lovely David dot to tell me when my stuff is cheaper :grinheart I'm hoping we get another boots suncream glitch soon

Where is he anyway?! Has he been reported for fresh air again??
